56 to 60 at 7:00. we'll look at the weekend coming up. jobina? >> good morning, everyone. 4:31 right now. we are looking at our overall map. green across the board. that's good as you head out the door. no major slowdowns that i'm seeing. live look in san rafael, 101, nice and clear there. moving over to the richmond-san rafael bridge, we're seeing a couple of cars making their way towards the toll plaza. drive times for you right now, tracy to dublin, 24 minutes for that drive time. there was an earlier crash this morning coming out of tracy. it hasn't slowed anything down. the antioch to ncord, 13 minutes. san rafael to san francisco, 16-minute ride. fremont police are looking to speak with anyone who may have come into contact with a man they say sexually assaulted a woman in a gym. >> this happened monday while the woman was taking a class. detectives fear there could be other victims. julian glover is live for us in fremont. this is ridiculous.

>> it's ridiculous and disturbing. this 24-hour fitness is a popular one. that's why fremont police want to hear from anyone who might have been a victim and anyone else who might have had contact with this alleged attacker in the days leading up to this assault that happened at the 24-hour fitness that happened behind me here in fremont. the 33-year-old man is accused of coming into the gym around 6:30 on monday and attacking a woman in the middle of a workout class. we want to show you a mugshot of the man arrested. 33-year-old jonathan anderson, a homeless man in fremont. police say he straddled the woman while she was doing push-ups, pushed her to the ground, held her down, ripped off her clothing and attempted to sexually assault her. thankfully another person working out, pushed anderson off the victim, followed him, and that's when gym employees held the man down until officers could get there. fremont police tell us that anderson did eventually confess

to the attack during questioning. he's charged with two felonies for assault and sexual assault and probation violation as well. he will be arraigned in court today. anyone out there with information can text tip fremont pd to 888777. we'll have all of this information up on our website shortly. reporting live in fremont, julian glover, abc7 news. >> what a story. thank you. at the live desk, more passengers from the diamond princess are expected to disembark the cruise ship which is docked in yokohama. japan is reporting that the first two deaths from the cruise liner, a japanese man and woman in their 80s contracted the disease on the diamond princess. they left the ship last week and were hospitalized. more than 600 passengers and crew tested positive for the virus, including a southern california man now at a bio containment unit. a chinese expert says the

coronavirus may never disappear fully and will likely come around seasonally like the flu. a man is in custody with the death of a woman found inside a san jose airbnb. 25-year-old ryoichi fuseya surrendered yesterday. overwhelm officials have not said anything about the relationship between the two. detectives say the woman was the victim of a homicide. airbnb says it has deactivated the home from the website. muni will consider proposed fare hikes. muni wants the mta board to approve raising fares from $3 to $3.25. card users would see their fare jump from 2.50 to 2.75. the sfmta has said they need more money to hire more bus and train operators and increase service. some believe charging more to

ride muni will discourage people from riding public transit. state lawmakers in sacramento are considering a bill that would penalize companies that let homes sit vacant for more than 90 days. nancy skinner said she was inspired by the groom mup moms housing. that group occupied a vacant home in oakland for two months. skinner's bill would allow tenants of foreclosed homes to buy the property. if the tenants decided not to buy, affordable housing organizations would have a chance to buy it before it goes on the open market. a central valley firefighter is remembered as hero as two 13-yr-old boys face charges for the fire that killed him. this morning there is another tragic development in that case. and an explosion, a car chase and vehicle vandalism leaves a south bay neighborhood on edge. some neighbors say maybe it's time to leave. >> there's a lot going on there.

manslaughter and arson charges in connection with the fire. in the south bay, people in san jose's north side neighborhood are demanding change. residents have seen an explosion in criminal activity and vandalism near north 18th and jackson streets in the last two weeks. amanda del castillo has the details. >> reporter: for many living just north of downtown san jose, discouraging is how they describe their last few weeks. >> i had to come over, i started the car and my exhaust was gone. maybe it is time to leave. maybe this place is not for me anymore. >> reporter: but saturday's stolen catalytic converter is not the only hazard that derek and his wife have had to deal with. their month started with this fiery scene. an explosion next door at a home that was supposed to be vacant. one person was injured. more recently monday brought a high-speed getaway. san jose police say before an officer could pull over the driver of the bmw, the driver sped off and hit a parked suv which then hit another car. stanfill says it seems city

that's why it's a focus of our efforts to building a better bay area. tonight the student homeless alliance at san jose state university will hold its 14th annual poverty under the stars. members say they will camp out by the johnny smith statue to support the 53,000 csu students experiencing homelessness in the past year. they're drawing attention to a state bill that would restructure the cal grant program to cover the full cost of attending college including housing. fans of whitney houston will soon get to see her on the concert stage again. >> her former manager says a holographic version of the late pop star will appear in shows starting next week. they will feature a projected image of whitney with real backup dancers and a live band. the tour comes eight years after she died. holographic concerts are becoming more and more popular. one featuring roy orbison and buddy holly played in san francisco last september.
