from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., expect lane closures. >> thanks. new details this morning on the missing couple found alive in marin county. >> they are recovering after some would call a miracle rescue. amy hollyfield is live at marin general with more on that. amy? >> good morning. we have some pictures, incredible pictures of the rescue that came in over the weekend. you can see the remote drainage ravine where they were found. this is several hundred yards from the nearest road. the rescuers who found them figured it was unlikely they would be in this area, thick with brush, but they decided to go ahead and search it, and they were shocked when they found 72-year-old eran irwin and 77-year-old carol kiparsky who said they went on a valentine's day hike and they got lost when it got dark. their sons couldn't believe they were found alive.

teachers and students of mcclymonds high school know where school will be held tomorrow. >> school has been out since a cancer causing chemical was found in the ground water. >> the school district will hold two meetings today to update the mcclymonds high school community. the first meeting is scheduled for k 30 th8:30 this morning an another one at 5:30 tonight. authority ies are testing the for the chemical tce. district officials stress it is not in the drinking water. they say tce in ground water does not pose an immediate threat, but it could be dangerous if the substance is in the air. >> we won't know until we get the test results back. once we get that we'll have a much greater understanding of is there a threat here? is there a problem that students have to be concerned about or

families? once we know that we can figure out how to deal with this going forward >> test results are expected later this week or next week. while there's no timeline for a permanent solution, mcclimbeds is hoping to hold classes at a temporary campus starting tomorrow. we'll follow this story closely and bring you updates. >> thanks. developing news in fairfield. police say they arrested the hit and run suspect who killed a 2-year-old boy. police say cirilo tellez was the driver involved in yesterday's crash on west texas street. a vehicle hit a toddler who later died. police say tellez initially left the scene but came back several hours later and was taken into custody. investigators say tellez is the victim's uncle and they believe he was drunk during the crash. in the east bay, police in pleasanton are looking for three people behind a home invasion robbery. it happened before 4:00 yesterday morning in the conninger ranch neighborhood. the woman who lives there says two men broke the rear sliding

glass door and confronted her with a gun. they wanted money and ransacked the house. security video shows there were actually three men. the victim wasn't hurt. >> now to the coronavirus. president trump has confirmed that americans with the coronavirus will not be sent to a fema location in alabama. the decision comes after officials there raised grave concerns about a plan to use the site as a backup location for infected passengers on board the diamond princess cruise ship. italy is now the hardest hit country outside of asia with more than 150 people sick from the virus. china postponed its most important political gathering as the country struggles to contain the outbreak. the session was supposed to take place in beijing next month. a new date has not been died. president trump is in india for his first visit there since taking office. more than 100,000 people turned south at a welcome rally for the

tests have shown no signs of the chemical in the air. experts are not sure where the traces of it came from on thursday. tce is an issue in several places around the neighborhood. to accommodate different schedules, the meetings are at 5830 and at 5:30. that's in the library of west oakland middle school at 14th and market. 20,000 people will soon be inside staples center for the public memorial for kobe bryant and his daughter, gianna. it was a month ago yesterday when the two died along with seven others in a helicopter crash. police have been working to limit crowds around staples center. only fans who have tickets will be allowed at the memorial. >> i grew up here in long beach. it's emotional for me. >> he touched a lot of lives here. it's sad that everyone can't attend. >> bryant's widow, vanessa, is calling the memorial a celebration of life.

recent allegations. two local shops in san francisco are both out hundreds of dollars. a thief seen waiting for employees to turn away to reach over into the registers, both shop owners think this is the same person. the owner of urban bowls in hayes valley says he was hit friday night. he thinks the suspect was there earlier in the day taking notes of how the employees worked. the owner got to work passing out flyers around the neighborhood. a local ice cream shop owner recognized him as the same man who stole from his store two days before in the same way. >> wehe pictures, the same beard, the same person. this guy is very calm, very talkative, just walking to the shop and leaning over. just opened up the rash register. >> both businesses say they're working with sfpd to catch that man. a warning from san francisco police after a man paid a ransom for the return of his stolen

>> how do you make changes when you know it's kind of difficult, you might not want do it but you need do it. >> the definition of wellness for me, but mine is all things in balance, it doesn't mean that things are in balance all the time. it means that you are like nature moving with the constant flow, setting a vision for who you want to be. not just what you want to do. who do you want to be in the world. >> i want to be -- >> who do you want to be? >> i want to be kumasi oprah. >> wow. the all right. >> she's so inspiring. >> mm-hmm. >> she just really -- she makes you want to be the best version of yourself. >> of course. >> just being around her, her authenticity, she walked to us like we were her friends and she was coming to hike with us. everybody is like, oh, my god, it's oprah. she's like hey, hi.

she just has this warmth about her that is so welcoming. she gave everybody a hug. it was just the best experience. you can tell she really does love being in nature. she says trees are her sanctuary. we did the hike, we got to the middle part it was supposed to be over, she was like is it done? we need to keep walking. let's hike some more. nobody says no, oprah, we're done. we're like we're going, where do you want to go? we hiked more. she would go and have her moment. she loves trees, loves being out there. it was really the best time. >> you're feet never touched the ground. >> look. when she starts doing that dance, that song, i said is this happening? okay. i can go on, but let's move on. oprah's on tour with her partner, ww, formerly known as weight watchers and she gave abc a special shout-out during her talk at chase center.

>> how many of you came home every day, 4:00, watching kgo -- [ cheers ] >> yes. so the oprah winfrey show started airing on abc7 in 1986, ending its 25-year run in 2011. jobina and i were in the house, we got that shout out. we were like yes. >> i agree with everything kumasi said. it was amazing. i didn't know what to expect, especially because of the partnership with weight watchers. i'm sure you agree, for some reason, this speaks to her success, like in your interview with her or in that room with almost 15,000 people, it felt like she was talking to me. >> she was. >> in that space. >> yes. >> we laughed. we made friends with people on muni on the way back. everyone was on the oprah high. >> people talked to each other on muni? oprah was able do that?

>> a miracle. >> i'm never washing my hands. she high-fived me. >> wow. >> you think about it was from 9:00 to 4:00, oprah was up there at least 80% of the time. it wasn't like hey, i'm introducing these people. she was present and just talking to us. we had to do homework. we had to go through a work book. it made you think about how can i -- what is my vision for my life. >> yes. vision for 2020 and beyond. we learned things about ourselves. i think everyone did. the work books were curated by her team, weight watches, it goes from mental wellness, nutrition, exercise. >> the overall body. the entire mindset. >> we danced. we laughed. >> you were getting it. >> kumasi was in there, now that i think about it. we have a video of that? kumasi crying? >> i did cry. i cannot lie. i cried. i was like jobina! >> we had fun. so happy.
