degrees, santa rosa, petaluma, 51 in concord. looking at cooler numbers, 2 to 7 degrees cooler right now. about but by the afternoon another 15 degrees of cooling. today is the coolest day of the next seven. there is the fog from santa rosa to petaluma. with chilly conditions we have blustery winds, bringing high fire danger by the second half of the weekend. gusty winds up in the upper elevations. we'll track the rest of the weekend and week coming up in a few minutes. liz. >> thanks. the this morning the urgent rush continues to contain the koefrpz. spreading in the bay area. doctors are concerned about how a woman became sick in santa clara county. her unknown transincome tax is the third case of covid-19. two other cases in solano county one from unknown transmission and one from someone abored board the diamond princess cruise ship. abc 7 spoke with a man who was

quarantined aboard the ship. >> it was an ordeal. simple things like getting groceries and toilet paper and sundries, we're at the mercy of family and friends purchasing it for us and then putting it in the driveway. and then we pick it up. we can't have any direct contact with anyone. >> he says he and his wife feel great. the symptoms never got worse than allergies. they are out from travis air base in fairfield being observed by county health officials. health officials in santa clara county say the third case is different. the source of transmission is unknown. officials sate now is the time to prepare for the possibility of widespread impact. abc 7 news roper amanda del castillo has the details squloo isolation quarantine and travel restrictions helping to slow the spread of covid-19 according to health officials but the second case of community transmission in the u.s. is heightening the concerning. cases without a recognized

the situation. >> in san francisco, lauren martin easy, abc 7 news. >> and the union representing tens of thousands of nurses says u.s. hospitals are ill prepared to deal with coronvirus. the national nurses united organization says hospitals need millions more n 957 masks, training for health care workers and better staffing. >> our plea, frankly, is for the hospital industry to get together, decide who is going to deal with the patients, who is already better prepared than other hospitals and similar amount and coordinate the efforts. >> the organization says 124 nurses and health care workers at uc davis have been placed on self-quarantine after being exposed to the coronvirus virus patient brought from solano county. and abc 7 consulted with a medical director at ucsf saying while there are no domestic travel restrictions she recommends pregnant women avoid

cleanliness and safety of each and every station. >> reporter: in fact we found human feces on-site during the visit. millbrae city manager tom williams says he told b.a.r.t. about it two weeks ago and followed up multiple times despite the push there's been no response from the agency. >> people that commute from redwood city, foster city, burlingame, other areas of san mateo county that use this station -- because it's a multi mode station for the daily commute it's embarrassing. >> built in 2003, the millbrae b.a.r.t. station is the largest transit center in the western united states. bringing together b.a.r.t., caltrain, samtrans, corporate shuttles and the world via sfo. it's also a future high-speed rail stop. city leaders don't understand why the station isn't getting the tlc they say it deserves especially since it's the first place visitors see when they take public transit out of the airport. >> it's a detriment to economic development in the city of millbrae. it's a detriment to the quality

of life, not only with millbrae citizens but throughout the region. >> on in kay, the elevator was out of service leaving some passengers in a panic. >> i'm just so upset because i just can't go downstairs because the elevator is not working. elevator to street. >> we shared some of the concerns with b.a.r.t. more specifically, we wanted to know why it was taking so long for the staff to come and clean up the poop? a spokesperson sent the statement saying quote both cleaning staff and police staff do checks in the garage. when a report is made a rapid response team is pinged in the field and deployed to clean it up. again, that's after we said the biohazard had been there for two weeks. community members say responses like these illustrate how their concerns aren't taken seriously. >> we write letters, talk to staff, things don't happen. i've had it. >> and left to suffer, are the

temperatures cooler this morning. 50 in san francisco. 51 in oakland. 48 in redwood city. pacifica in the upper 40s. from the sutro tower camera you can see some scattered clouds. a pretty view. 40 santa rosa. 39 in petaluma. with the cooler wind coming in we are looking at a colder start, 48 in fairfield. 51 in concord. but we keep the cool temperatures today, 10 to 15 degrees cooler than yesterday. windy and cooler over the week. a wind advisory for the coast and north and east bay hills through the santa cruz mountains to monterey into sunday and early monday. and enthis that's going to allow for the risk of high fire danger with the north winds. we've had a dry month and dry mild week ahead. still with no rain. a look at the upper elevation winds right now above 1,000 feet, mount tam to 20 miles an hour. mount diablo 28 miles an hour. and so the combination of no

rain for february and north winds coming in sunday into monday, that's why we are looking at high fire danger as we get into the first part of next week. here is a look at today, 25 to 35 miles an hour winds on the coast. 15 to 20 miles an hour winds elsewhere around the bay. not only will the temperatures be suppressed but you add in the on shore winds it's chilly. any rain across the state? yes, a couple hundredths long along the coast not much. central coast southern california. but the mountains a quick burst of snow, a winter dwrgt advisory from 6:00 tonight to tomorrow with 6 to 8 inches. if you are headed up to the mountains. process bring the chains and take it slow. looking at your sunday, here is the cloudy day, the gusty north winds, 15 to 25 miles an hour. could see the gusts up to 45 in the highest emphasises. then into monday, numbers

have a great everybody. lets check now the bay area forecast with meteorologist lisa argen. >> hey, liz, business change for the weekend. all the war know much cooler. and a wind advisory in effect for sunday. bringing some gusty offshore winds. and we got to watch out for fire danger. no rain for the month of february. you know that. but if you head out today, say walk the dog, it's going to be windy out there. and we're seeing clouds increase throughout the day. so mainly in the 60s if you are in our east bay. low 60s at best. it's taking all day to get there. and then by the afternoon this front pushes on through. a dry front and it's bringing even windier conditions. it's breezy to windy today. gusty winds overnight and then there will be gustier in parts of the bay for sunday. we have a wind advisory for many areas around the bay as we get to the second half of the
