yesterday and it is an adult woman said to have had chronic health conditions. she's currently hospitalized. the sixth and seventh cases are husband and wife, both are in the hospital. the couple recently traveled to egypt where there's been at least two confirmed cases of the virus. the husband is said to have chronic health conditions which worsens the severity of the toll the virus takes on the body. as news broke over the weekend of several new cases of the virus in santa clara county likely through community spread, you can see the crazy crowds at costco. people rushing to stock up on everything from disinfectants to food, they actually ran out of clorox wipes in this costco in san jose. health officials reminding everyone not to panic but to be prepared and have a plan. they're reminding everyone to wash those hands often. disinfect things you touch often as often as possible and try to keep from touching your face. simple things that can help us all decrease the likelihood of

in paradise in 2018. a second person is in custody this morning in connection with an attack that was caught on video. the it shows an older man being harassed, assaulted and robbed as he collected cans in san francisco's bayview district. 56-year-old jonathan emerson surrendered to police yesterday. he is facing two downs of robbery and elder abuse. he reportedly robbed the same victim two months ago. on thursday, dwayne grayson was arrested at his home for his role in the attack. on the peninsula investigators trying to determine why a man drove into a group of teens in burlburlingam. he drove on to a sidewalk and hit the four teens on saturday. he sped away but witnesses followed him. they led police to the suspect. two of the victims had major issues. he faces felony hit and run and attempted homicide charges. a class action lawsuit

wind advisory. i wanted to show you the first one, this is for the san francisco peninsula coast. that's until 9:00 this morning. now, you also will see the north bay mountains is and the east bay hills. that is until 4:00 tomorrow morning. we're still going to have breezy conditions. that's also going to lead to the dramatic warmup in temperatures today. look at this, 66 in fresno. 64 in monterey. low to mid 70s for sacramento and chico. windy around l.a. and san diego. 74 and 64. windy at yosemite, 53. 43 degree temperatures today in tahoe after the snow over the weekend. near record highs wednesday and thursday. more snow possible this weekend. >> thanks. san francisco firefighters are watching for flair ups after a huge fire in san francisco's bayview district. they have been putting water on the charred debris of a warehouse that collapsed in saturday night's inferno. people saw the flames and the explosion from several miles away.

high winds made it hard to battle the fire. it destroyed a towing company, a restaurant and an apartment building where two people were living. nobody was hurt. a trial starts in san francisco in the long awaited class action lawsuit against fastrak. 7 on your side received so many responses from motorists wanting to know how you can join the suit. you may already be a part of it. michael finney explains why. >> reporter: the lawsuit began after the golden gate bridge switched to all-electronic tolling in 2013. drivers with jot the device are supposed to get tolling invoices in the mail. they say thousands never got their invoices, often due to address mistakes. the suit says fast track didn't try to find the motorists but simply piled on penalties. >> they shredded the return mail and imposed penalties for failing to pay the toll.

>> reporter: now the golden great bridge district and tolling authority say they improved the system for handling tolls and disputes, but they want to keep their policy as secret from all of us, saying the information to, quote, game the system and avoid paying tolls. hundreds of viewers have told their stories saying fastrak unfairly charged them with toll penalties too and they feel helpless to dispute them. sharon writes how do people join as it turns out you don't have to. you are already in it. that is if you fit the definition of this class. so, how do you know? you are in the class if you crossed the golden gate bridge since 2013 and received a toll penalty. the suit says you are entitled, at least, to a hearing.

and the suit asks for a full refund if your toll invoice got thrown away by fastrak. the suit does not cover drivers on other bridges but demands fastrak use a fair syem notify drivers before attaching penalties. that effects all drivers on all bay area bridges. if you want to hear what fastrak has to say, you can attend the trial in person in san francisco superior court beginning on monday. 7 on your side will be there and we'll object to hiding those public policies. i'm michael finney, 7 on your side. the key to happiness may be naming your plants. according to the "l.a. times," scientists say giving your plant a name can make you feel less lonely. a psychology professor explains how it works. he says people who name their plants deepen their relationship with it fighting off feelings of isolation. people who name their plants are more likely to take care of
