monday. >> all other berkeley public schools. wood side school district. >> good evening. san francisco unified decision to shut all schools starting monday is still sinking in for tens of thousands of families tonight. >> live outside george washington high school in san francisco with the latest. >> we're talking about 56,000 students who are effected here. 9,500 in instructors and administrators. this is going to impact a number of families. most of these closures will start on monday. already two schools are closed. >> tensions high in soan francisco over coronavirus concern. thursday night seven students from here at glen park elementary reported respiratory illness to the health department

and prompted the school district to close the school immediately. and days before the district wide change. this is not business as usual. >> hours after the superintendent announced that all san francisco public schools would close on monday. parents had questions about the timing of the move. >> the closures in san francisco don't start until next week. she is not waiting for that. and will make an immediate change with her 16 year-old son. >> i'm not sending him tomorrow. he's staying home. >> lake shore elementary has already closed due to four students who came down with pneumonia and being tested for coronavirus. >> attendance in san francisco schools is already down among students and staff. main concern having enough food for her family over the next three weeks. >> i'm scared. i came into buy dinner and i see

new details about the three tsa agents who became ill with covid-19. they were working at terminal b. on evening shifts. two performed screenings including patting down passengers and checking bags and monitoring body scanner. each had a different last day of work. from february 21 to march 2. 224 confirmed cases in california. 140 in the bay area. a health emergency tonight but there are no confirmed cases in that county. and tonight san mateo banned gatherings of 250 or more people. >> international travel restrictions increasing as the spread growing. what about a domestic travel ban from state to state? live from san francisco international airport with details on what might be coming.

>> no domestc travel restrirkss are currently in place in the u.s. today reporters asked president trump if it's possible to implement travel restrictions to the hard hit states like california. or washington. his answer was yes. >> travel restrictions within the united states to washington or california. >> we haven't discussed that yet. is it a possibility, yes. if somebody gets out of control. if an area gets too hot. >> washington and california are so far some of the hardest hit states of covid-19. we asked travelers. >> it's matter of time. >> she rented a car in las vegas. in case she had trouble flying n back home. >> i prefer nobody to come to the state and start it in our state. >> others are skeptical of state to state travel restrictions. >> i don't think it will happen. it shouldn't. >> people will do it whether they drive or fly.
