weather across the bay area there the holiday weekend and, unfortunately that has some people, officials, worried about people packing parks. >> you would never know there was any sort of shelter in place if you were out at marina park. cars for as far as you could see. >> i just want to enjoy life and enjoy the weather because right now it is spring. >> reporter: there is a fear that even more people will come out this easter weekend when the weather is expected to be even nicer. because of that, parks like this one and dozens of others including in alameda county anda be closed and parking even more we never had this before. >> reporter: at marina park, official parking lots wereedhurs taped up. but hundreds of people instead parked on the street.

there was even a game of soccer going on. some participating are concerne are still being safe. >> yeah, i feel worried. that's why, as you can see, i'm dressed up. >> when we do run, we definitely don't touch anything and then we make sure to practice social distancing. >> reporter: so many wanting to be safe, but also saying they prefer to do it outside. >> i think even at this time, people realize they need to go out, get some fresh air. >> reporter: now many of these parks have already been off limits. the difference this weekend is that we'll see additional parking lots like the one behind me closed. in alameda county, j.r. stone, abc 7 news. well, in the north bay, marin county officials are taking steps to cut down on crowds at parks and open spaces this weekend. they have issued an emergency parking resolution that dessinginates no parking zoepne.

in the mountain on either side as that last push of wet weather moves through. little slippery down there for the commute and everywhere else pretty quiet. let's look at neighborhood temperatures today. up in the north bay, the greatest amount of sunshine and that will push us into the mid-60s for several hours t oon. cloudy and about 59 degrees. let's take a look at what's going on along the bay. the east bay. we're in the 50s through only 9:00. we jump into the 60s by 11:00. mid 60s in the afternoon hours and temperatures there warmer than yesterday and same thing in san francisco where the clouds will linger a little bit longer but get to 60 for a couple hours this afternoon before dropping down to 55 during the evening hours. that anticipated weekend forecast coming up soon. first, let's get over to jobina and talk about the essential commuters this morning. hi, jobina. >> hi, mike. thank you. good morning to you. happy good friday. so, really now that we have

reached friday, this is the point where we have had all these week-long changes of mass transit updates. right from b.a.r.t. to muni reduction and light rail service is back and that is on reduced schedule. really, my point is, please, remember to check the schedules because loads of things have changed if you need to get out and take mass transit. as far as our roads, everything is looking good. live look outside and showing you the clear conditions. the only thing coming in from the chp is reports on road construction. i'm happy to bring that to our drivers who need to leave.

around sacramento and chico and tahoe, that's it for the snow. temperatures in the 50s with dry weather. so, kumasi, that was it for the snow season. >> oh, man. all right. thanks, mike. the san francisco ymca is trying to help out sels workees workers who cannot stay home with their kids during this pandemic. they opened upour pop-up camps and provide kids with steam, arts and crafts and fun in a safe place. the y does all of this while doing their best to maintain social distance between the kids. >> we put as many safety precautions as we can in place, but always a risk. we wash our hands all the time. we disinfect everything. but it's worth it to support our community and that's why we're here. >> so far no kids have gotten sick since the pop-up started about a month ago and no waiting list right now for the pop ups. the ymca will be opening up additional camps for kids of essential workers. hard enough for the many adults working from home these

no chance of rain but you can see we're starting off pretty cloudy from our exploratorium camera at pier 15 and looking back towards the quiet financial center. this is water vapor and taking a look at the amount of water in the air. the orange is dry and the blue is wet. so, you can see just how big and how large of an influence this area of low pressure has. it's steering both of the jet streams well to the north and well to the south of us and that's the definition of a cutoff low. not in the jet stream or in the storm track just sits and does what it wants. look at the cloud cover and open up a little bit for sunshine this afternoon as we head towards sunset. give to more sun tomorrow afternoon except along the coast where it will be more stubborn. accuweather seven-day forecast. get used to fog and afternoon sunshine and temperatures reaching the mid 60s at the coast by next week when we have
