make money. if it's getting that bad. >> three of the stolen tires cases happened here. one of the car owners told me $1,000 to replace one tire. at this point no arrests have been made. >> another crime that spiked recently is catalytic converters theft. a bust they made this morning. three men arrested after police sa they were caught in the act. they are targeted because of the value and lack of identifying markings. >> sheriffs deputy say an inmate released to lessen the danger of covid-19 went on a violent crime spree just minutes later. they are looking at the suspect. oakland police arrested him after finding him in a stolen car. he spent 12 hours in custody at the jail. claiming it took him 37 minutes

after being released to carjack someone. a police dog captured him after another attempted carjacking. lt sheriff office admits some people are committing crimes after leaving jail. >> it's not a persistent problem. what's concerning is that we have an individual go from stealing a vehicle and then do two carjackings. there's a leap. >> police are crediting aalert citizen by helping stop three people from stealing an entire atm. the three suspects tried to remove it using a sledge happener. along with a chain. hooked to a stolen van. all three ran away when police arrived. officers have caught two. >> today in san francisco confirmed 67 cases of coronavirus. at the central gardens hospital in japan town. the public health department is over seeing the treatment and testing of residents and staff.

the city released a map of coronavirus cases by zip code showing which areas have a higher rate of cases than others. highest rates in the neighborhoods. >> i want to stress that no zip code or neighborhood is inherently safer than another. every san franciscoen should continue to exercise precautions. this map shouldn't make anyone feel more relaxed or at the same time more fearful. >> we have of the map available on our web site. >> one bay area town is making history offering all of the residents free coronavirus testing. nearly 2,000 residents in the north bay town will get test ca. they were inspired by italian town that warded off the virus by testing every person who lives there. they hope doing this test
