right now 46 and 47 in blackhawk and everybody else in the 50s in our east bay valleys and low to mid 50s around the bay shore and little cooler 39 in los gatos and 49 in pacifica. san jose partly cloudy and 55 degrees. everything is good for your commute except for it's going to be breezy, especially around the san francisco bay during the afternoon and evening hours. check out the east bay, we jump from 53 at 7:00 and already 70 at noon and hanging out in the mid to upper 70s during the afternoon hours and still 71 and a little breezy at around 7:00. for the north bay we'll jump from 52 this morning and low to mid 80s for about three to four hours this afternoon and a sunny 77 at 7:00 and here's a look at san francisco where upper 60s will rule most neighborhoods. wouldn't be surprised if a few of them hit the low 70s and little breezy this afternoon and a whole lot of sunshine coming your way. we'll take a look at what to

expect coming up when those 90s get to your neighborhood. first, over to jobina and say good morning. hi, jobina. >> hi, mike. thank you very much. good morning, everyone. i'm following two serious situations right now. the first i want to get the chp says a single car crash this evening just around 1:00 this morning northbound 880 just south of davis in san leandro. two people in the vehicle. one person was ejected and unfortunately killed and the other was taken to the hospital in unknown condition. the chp says the vehicle crashed into rocks under an overpass for an unknown reason. all lanes are now back open in the area. also, i want to, haven't seen this in a while, bringing you these maps on the air because a sig alert in santa clara this morning. all lanes are currently blocked on northbound 101 before san thomas. you can see that slow down there from the red and yellow line on

we sent chris reyes out to get some answers. >> reporter: child care is allowed with conditions and criteria and specifications and modifications in the existing phase that we're in. not part of phase two because it's already in place. >> reporter: the question is, what are the new conditions? for example, one of the largest child care providers in the country, bright horizons only kept a few of their locations in the bay area open. ones that serve essential workers. they told abc7 that for now they have no plans to open to the general public until the shelter-in-place order is lifted. they want parents to know they're ready to open for business this friday, but right now they're having trouble filling spots. >> at this point we're available to open, but we don't have enough demand. >> reporter: with touchless bathrooms and personalized toilets, they are ready to follow all guidelines now just a matter of getting parents to sign on. >> yii think many parents are

afraid to bring their children back to child care facilities until the shelter-in-place order is lifted. also, many parents moved out of the city for this period of time. >> reporter: child care centers have been able to remain open for families of essential workers or children in vulnerable groups. this new government web portal lists all available centers. kris reyes for abc7 news. mom and pop stores who don't qualify to open are finding some alternatives. shops in burlingame are returning to live shop. competes against giant retailers like amazon. they embrace the idea of making local deliveries. >> what can we do for this experience and to do it for local shops for the family and friends we know. for the city we care about or the community we care about. >> so, we have to make the

the 80s. let's be specific and know dogoo the south bay. head up the peninsula and we start around 79 and drop down to 75 and breezy again this afternoonmid to upper 60s and 70s in downtown and sausalito and 80 to 85 degrees along the north bay valleys and east bay shore 85 to trying to get to 80 around fremont and castro valley. low to upper 80s into the east bay valleys. here's what i'm talking about at night. look at the temperatures under a full moon tonight and mostly clear sky. my accuweather seven-day forecast. look at that heat. mid 80s to mid 90s away from the coast where it will be around 70. look at that chance of wet weather begins monday night and slight chance of showers tuesday and that is when temperatures will be around 20 to 25 degrees cooler. so, put up with it for two to

investigators are teaming up. the company confirms to abc news that it's working with the fbi to track down people who are taking part in zoom bombing when they spew hateful language. there have been countless incidents since the pandemic started. air bnb is getting rid of one quarter of its workforce slashing 1,900 jobs. the ceo cited a potential 50% drop in revenue compared to last year. and your next tinder date could be virtual. the dating app is adding the video chat later this year. tinder says the average number of daily messages climbed by 27% in april. so many people finding lov we're all doing our part by staying at home. that could mean an increase in energy bills. you can save by setting your heat to 68 or lower... unplugging and turning off devices when not in use... or just letting the sun light your home. stay well and keep it golden.

did you feel those breezes kick up yesterday afternoon and evening? little noisy outside and that will be the case again this afternoon and evening from 2:00 to 9:00, especially around the san francisco bay. check out tomorrow 70s and 80s around the bay and 90s inland and our warmest temperatures friday and looks like parts of the central valley tried to reach triple digits around sacramento and look at mom's day. really comfortable with 60s and 70s. quite a difference there. some of the warmer spots maybe antioch and san jose and cloverdale right around 80. after being in the mid 90s, that is going to feel pretty good. uc berkeley's chancellor
