state department of health is taking action against the owner of a nursing home that suffered one of the worse coronavirus out breaks in the state. denying her license to operate nip more facilities. >> 37 year-old told me in an interview last month she owns and operates eleven nursing homes including this care center. where dozens staff and patients contracted coronavirus. workers say six patients have died. >> our condolences. this is a terrible virus going across the world. >> now the state department of public health denied her license to operate nine additional nursing homes. from san jose to central and southern california. the state said she submitted a fraudulent transcript from college and cited dozens of violations over three years.

partners. the trailers have been sitting vacant for two months. those who have preexisting conditions or may have coronavirus will receive priority. >> california democratic lawmakers devised a plan to help renters and landlords get through tough times. tenants who lose their jobs during a pandemic can stay in their homes without paying rent. in 2024, they would be given a decade to repay it. interest free. landlord get tax credits to cover the financial loss. the plan cost the state $500 million a year. if the tenants don't pay it back. >> california state university system will keep classes online for the fall semester. no students on campus. today the chancellor said the risks are too great for 500,000 under graduates. classes will continue online. there are 23 schools in the system across california.

scattered showers expected tomorrow. short break friday. it will feel like spring on friday. today temperatures were a good two to ten degrees below average and feeling like late winter than spring. a stronger storm this weekend. tomorrow system is level 1. periods of showers and breezy. 15 hundredths of an inch of rain expected. hour by hour forecast tomorrow morning 9:00 a.m. focus on the wet weather is in the north bay. into the afternoon, anyone is fair game. noontime the scattered showers san francisco. oakland heading into the south bay. 2:00 p.m. and still those spotty showers at 4:00 p.m. i would hang on to the umbrella. if you need t step out. in terms of rainfall it's not a lot. it's just enough to dampen the ground. create slick roadways. temperatures first thing in the morning 40s 50s.
