also on davis street. same street at that walmart and also lots of looting happening there. they do have a curfew here in san leandro. they implemented a curfew and you saw that last night there was still a lot of unrest and a lot of crime committed here. reporting live in san leandro, amy hollyfield, abc7 news. this morning police in hayward investigating and someone broke into richardson tactical overnight. you can see a busted window at the shop and the gate was also busted and people trying to repair it. police haven't said what was taken from the store. new this morning, three people have been detained after shots were fired at the oakland police administration building. it happened just after midnight on the building on seventh street and officers made the arrest ten blocks away and no one was hurt. six bay area cities are under curfew. in walnut creek the curfew is in effect until 5:00 this morning.

for the next seven days or until further notice. santa clara's curfew runs the same hours and will extend until further notice. the curfew in san francisco will run indefinitely. danville declared a state of emergency and issued a mandatory curfew that ends at 5:00 this morning and a one-night curfew in place in pleasant hill. that ends at 5:30 this morning. businesses in the mission district were also looted. the damage left after a jewelry store was broken in to will not stand for outsiders doing damage. >> if you know your history, you know there is what we call infiltrators, instigators, provoc tors that come in because they want to discredit our movement. they want to discredit our anger. >> the leaders are calling on

abc7 news. a walnut creek woman was in a walgreens on north main street when looters burst into the store. she was picking up a prescription for her child when 75 people stormed inside. they took alcohol and whatever else they could grab. massey took this moment and the pharmacy shut its window. >> i was terified and please know i have three kids. i was terrified. i was really lucky to run and find an emergency exit door. >> massey says it was scarier once she got outside because more looters in cars speeding everywhere. despite the scattered violence most of the protests in the bay area in hayward more th gathered outside the police station. the group chanted slogans demanding justice. a show of solidarity from napa's police chief.

you can see chief robert plumber took a knee. napa police showed him meeting with demonstrators and the department wrote, we are with you. the demonstration at may and third was peaceful. actor jamie foxx will join leaders for a kneel-in protest today. they're demanding an end to the killing of black people and removing racist officers from police departments. that protest is set to start at 11:00 this morning outside san francisco city hall. the unrest not only exists here in the bay area, but really around the world. jobina fortson is live with what happened in protests oer >>s, t. demonstrations are happening in almost every major city across the country and also overseas in berlin and also in london. some peaceful protests were quickly overshadowed like incidents you see here. through crowd in minneapolis yesterday.

thankfully no protesters were hurt and the driver was arrested. the driver's motives are unclear at this time. some protesters in washington, d.c., set a large fire near the white house while shouting, quote, you are the threat to police. george floyd's brother, terrance floyd said this is not what his brother would have wanted. >> you could be angry and be frustrated, but channel it in another way where justice will be served. >> demonstrations are planned for later today and this week and i will be tracking all of it and bring you the latest from the live desk. kumasi, back to you. >> thank you, jobina. a minnesota attorney general is now leading the prosecution of cases arising from the death of george floyd. he says he wants people to give people, quote, a dose of reality. he's asking for people's trust and promise to pursue justice relentlessly. meanwhile, houston police want to give floyd's funeral a police escort. the department says it will use a high level of security to

transport the houston native's body, similar to when an officer dies in the line of duty. two atlanta police officers are out of a job for using what the mayor calls excessive force on two college students during a protest. the video you're about to watch may be difficult to see. body camera video captured the officer tasing before being forcefully drag out. the female passenger was also pulled out of the car. she says it was the worst experience of her life. one of the fired men said he heard officers yell gun. he deployed his taser to, quote, defuse the situation. six target stores remain closed this morning because of the protest over george llasvi olandocatn arpr stos aosprese abe

looting. the drugstore chain hasn't published a complete list of the stores due to the fluuidity of the situation. coming up next, new developments in the investigation into the killing of a federal officer in oakland being called domestic terrorism. also, more counties moving into phase two of reopening. what you'll be able to do now. but, first, it's 4:38 and checking in with mike for a look at our forecast. good morning, mike. >> good morning, kumasi. hi, everybody. let's start with temperatures down in the south bay where we're mainly right around 60 degrees. 57 to 60 under cloudy conditions down in the south bay. let's take a look at some other neighborhoods and pretty much 50s everywhere. 52 in bodega and here's a look at your commute. 57 and mostly cloudy right now but i haven't heard of any reports of drizzle and maybe a

touch of mist near half moon bay this morning and some of our coastal mountains. but even that has been very few and far between. let's take a look at your commute planner. low clouds and cool conditions this morning and a lighter breeze out on the bay. here's a look at the peninsula. 65 at 10:00 and mid 70s for the better part of the afternoon hours and 68 at 8:00. let's take a look at your 12-hour planner for the east bay. 58 this morning and 66 at noon and a few low 70s for a couple hours and down to 64 at 8:00 and for san francisco we're in the 50s throug 10:00. mid 60s pretty close to where we should be this afternoon and down to 62 at 8:00. you might need a light jacket then. we'll talk about some 90s coming back to the forecast for a couple days and show you that in the accuweather forecast. first, let's say goodern moi moo jobina. >> first off, i want to let our essential workers know that we

blocks north of lake merritt. crews say they were able to stop the fire from spreading and caused minimal damage to the building and the car is parked outside and thankfully no one was hurt. investigators are looking for a white van in connection with the killing of a security officer at downtown oakland's 53-year-old dave patrick underwood died after being shot by a gunman in a passing van on friday night. surveillance video shows the video and another security officer was also hurt. the fbi has taken the lead now on this investigation and teams continue to scour this area for evidence. a memorial to underwood has gone up outside the courthouse guard station. you can see some of the bulletholes are still there. the department of homeland security official calls his killing an act of domestic terrorism. oakland city and leaders are speaking out against the destruction of property and looting. they said the violence takes away from the message of the protest.

pier 15 back across a mostly cloudy san francisco and temperatures 55 degrees and brighter today and that means a little bit warmer but nothing out of control. at least not today. that hit us tomorrow and then by the weekend we're looking at a slight chance of showers and not what happened over the weekend. no, i a great time watching those thunderstorms roll in and hopefully you enjoyed the wet weather also. seasonal tonight with a little bit of fog near the coast and low cloudiness at 7:00 and notice by noon still hanging around the coast and still pushing across the golden gate bridge and that will dry up a little bit this afternoon by 7:00 it starts to make that eastward push once again. but notice it is not going to be nearly as extensive tomorrow which will allow tomorrow to be warmer than today. today we get back to average under a partly cloudy sky. now, as you head up the peninsula, we start at 75 and drop down to 69 at millbrae and mid 60s along the coast and downtown san francisco and
