distance. so sunday president trump ordered the guard to start withdrawing from the nation's capital. a spokesperson says those who test positive for the virus will likely stay in washington, d.c. until they have no longer sick. happening today, the brother of george floyd and a sister of the federal protective service officer who was killed in oakland will testify today in washington, d.c. this is part of the house judiciary committee's hearing on police brutality. it is the first hearing since floyd's death more than two weeks ago. the panel says that it will, quote, examine the crisis of racial profiling, police brutality and lost trust. and just hoye just hoyer j celebration of george floyd's life, lawmakers are considering police reforms.

here are the 7 things to know this morning. number one, vallejo police are investigating after a shooting that left at least four people hurt. the shooting occurred just before 10:00 last night at the corner of amelia street and cynthia avenues. three victims were at the scene and the fourth drove to the hospital. and george floyd's brother will testify before congress today. he will talk about his brother's death during a house hearing on police brutality and racial profiling just one day after floyd was laid to rest. and many restaurant owners in san francisco are mapping out where they will put tables for outdoor dining. mayor breed announced that restaurants can start outdoor dining this friday instead of monday. and the san jose earthquakes

connection. the iteam has uncovered new information about the police shooting of an unarmed man outside a walgreen's. official time death was 1:31 a.m. and that matters to his family because it differs from what the police chief said in a news conference. melanie woodrow has a story you will see only on 7. >> these the facts -- >> reporter: this is how the police chief began a press conference last wednesday at 3:00 p.m. a day prior, tuesday around 12:30 a.m., vallejo police shot sean monitor rosa after he dropped to anne kneeling positi. the officer saw him place his hands above his waist revealing what he believed to be a handgun but it was ahammer. the police department released this initial statement at 4:08 a.m. tuesday, approximately 3 1/2 hours after the shooting. it did not include that police

category. let's take a look at what is going on as far as temperatures. right now on the peninsula, low to mid-50s in most neighborhood, redwood city, 57. any cloud cover is right along the coast. and temperatures in the 50s just about everywhere. east bay valleys, some low to even upper 60s right now. and san jose, about 61. so breezy and mild at the beaches, surfaces could be too hot for walking the dog during the afternoon hours. and the heat i will nllnes wills and we'll have some clouds. upper 80s for several hours this afternoon, 75 at 8:00. north bay, 71 at 8:00, and then look at the low to mid-90s for several hours this afternoon. and also in the east bay valley, not total sunshine, but consecutively sun glass weather. low to mid-90s from about 1:00 through 6:00. and at 8:00, it is 79 degrees.
