i'm the host of the show. thanks for watching. i'm still at home. you know, i was gonna take the car out of the driveway to cruise around a little this afternoon, but turns out i forgot how to drive. we are coming up on, i believe, this weekend will mark three months of quarantine. we've been locked down so long even our apps have started to adapt. apple was just awarded a patent for software that will allow humans to take what they call a "synthetic group selfie" where you don't have to be in the same room. the way it works is, you invite friends to be in your selfie from wherever they are. then the software will remove all the backgrounds and put everyone together. basically, apple just got a patent for photoshop. but, it's interesting. this is the schematic from the patent. is that not the bleakest thing you've ever seen? i have another idea, how about we just try to go three months without taking selfies? according to a new poll, 27% of americans "somewhat or strongly

agree" that donald trump is a man of faith. which is not a lot of people, but still too many. trump's faith is like bigfoot, only a handful of nuts believe it exists. and the only evidence is this photo of a lumbering ape like creature holding a bible upside down. so, last night i mentioned that trump tweeted another wackadoodle conspiracy theory, claiming that 75-year-old protester who was shoved to the ground by cops in buffalo could be some kind of evil antifa operative, jamming police scanners with his phone. of course, there was no evidence whatsoever to support this claim. but, does the president regret it? according to official trump spokesmodel, kasey maga-looney, no, he does not. >> does the president regret tweeting out a baseless conspiracy theory about a 75-year-old protester on the morning of george floyd's funeral? >> president was asking questions about interaction in a

video he saw and the president has the right to ask those questions. >> shouldn't the president have facts before he tweets anything, he's the president of the united states. >> the president did have facts before he tweeted it out that undergirded his question. >> is it a baseless. >> no, i won't acknowledge that. >> jimmy: i won't acknowledge anything because if i do, i would have to acknowledge what i have become. i think she might be gunning for the ivanka spot. and by the way, "undergirding" is what keeps the president's breasts perky and up. this is a fun one. the president's third-favorite son, donald jr. took a hunting trip to mongolia last summer on a journey to shoot a rare breed of sheep. a mongolian sheep. this reportedly cost taxpayers more than $76,000 for djtj's optional secret service detail. he doesn't have to bring them, he chose to. the total cost to me and you

was $76,859.36. there he is, dingus khan. i think, deep down, djtj kills sheep because he's embarrassed he never learned how to count them. meanwhile, the republican national convention is getting a change of venue. they were supposed to hold it in north carolina, but north carolina said no because of concerns about large gatherings and the coronavirus. so, the gop is moving the convention to another state. and see if you can guess which one? which state is willing to put lives at risk so president trump can give a speech in front of a big crowd? i'll put 30 seconds on the clock. [ dinging ] oh wait, you know it already. that's right, florida. jacksonville, florida is said to be the likely location for the rnc. that makes sense. if the trump administration was a state it would be florida. the president reportedly said, he isn't worried about an outbreak because the virus primarily affects people who are old or have underlying conditions. yeah, that doesn't sound like the population of florida to me.

and you know they won't wear masks. masks will be a rarity at the rnc. so we came up with, what i believe might be a maga-nificent idea. i'm planning to sell these outside the convention. this is the first official maga bleach helmet. you just sip on the clorox, now fans of donald trump can be white on the inside too! trump is planning to have a rally next friday in tulsa, oklahoma. it's pretty insane that our president refuses to listen to his own health experts and won't even wear a mask. just to give you some perspective, here are some people who are smart enough to wear masks to keep their face covered. stone cold steve austin wears an alabama mask. in fact, someone commented, saying wearing a mask made him look weak and you know what stone cold said? he said "shut up, dude." stone cold. you know who else knows better than our president? brody jenner. that's right, brody jenner. a man who wears a hat that says

"da crack" knows to wear a mask. guess who else is smarter than donald trump? floyd mayweather jr. a gentleman who bought a $18 million watch has more common sense than our commander in chief. and, last but not least, you know who wears a mask? o.j! o.j. simpson, the guy who left his gloves behind knows to wear a mask. speaking of o.j., this is interesting, in the wake of the movement to defund the police, you know what show got cancelled? "cops." after 33 seasons, paramount decide to pull the plug on "cops." "cops" has been around since 1989, as long as "the simpsons." my bleach is sagging. this seems like an analogy for the administration here. okay, i'm going to take this off. in hindsight, "cops" was a weird show. people being arrested to the

tune of a boppin' reggae song. the lyrics to that song? looking forward to? >> i was looking forward to it for pete, because it's such a big moment, like, it's a crazy big moment that you want to see your child like achieve. >> jimmy: yeah. >> but it's fine. i feel like we were lucky to shoot it last summer, because if it was this summer, you know, who knows when it would have happened. i feel busted in a lot of ways about that. >> jimmy: pete, when you have friends come over, do they come through the upstairs? or is there a separate entrance downstairs? >> i have my own entrance for the cool cats. only the cool cats get the side door. >> jimmy: do you knock before coming downstairs? >> i text. i text first. >> jimmy: texting is the new knocking. well, the movie came out great.

what are the symptoms for the little ones when they get this? >> sure, so the symptoms are very different than for adults. adults, it was mostly respiratory. for children we've seen them with mostly cardiac, actually, cardiac influence and also rash, fever, gastrointestinal issues. >> jimmy: this must be very scary for both the kids and the parents when they come to the hospital with this. >> absolutely. absolutely. yeah, you hear covid, and everybody starts to really panic. >> jimmy: yeah, right. and you of course are there to not only take care of these families, but to calm them down, to make them feel better, which i would imagine creates a lot of stress on you. >> yeah. it can. absolutely. >> jimmy: what is a typical day like for you? >> okay, my day starts, i drive 45 minutes to work. i have to be at work by 7:00 in

the morning. we'll get report, and then we just hit the floor runnin', you know. >> jimmy: you hit the floor running. >> yeah. >> jimmy: what do you do when you relax? how do you unwind? >> i actually play golf. i love yoga, and the best thing that i do is on my way home from work when it's my own private time, i play my radio really, really loud. >> jimmy: what do you play on the radio? >> i actually love metallica, and my favorite song is "enter sandman." i blast it as loud as i can. >> jimmy: we've been doing some spying on you, and we heard you were a fan of metallica. and i'd like to introduce you to somebody right now. yes. his name is lars. and. >> lars! >> jimmy: a drum roll. >> oh, my gosh. >> jimmy: lars from metallica. >> wow. >> hi, tracy! >> hi. >> it's so incredible to be here with you and hear your story.
