advertised. you have thousands of people indoors, shoulder to shoulder, many not wearing masks. from a public health standpoint what's your biggest concern now that the rally is over and people start heading home? >> good morning, whit. this is a real problem. i mean, the cdc places this event in the highest risk category. you have crowds, indoors, no physical distancing, not wearing masks and in a state on the rise with cases, even though the absolute number is still small. this is a real setup for the potential for tulsa to be a hot zone in the near future. we want to prevent that. so i think it's important to follow their local public health guidance and maybe try testing in about four days. most of the people that are there. >> we mentioned tulsa, oklahoma, but they're not alone. we're seeing alarming increases, especially in southern states, florida, mississippi, north carolina. some other places as well, and younger people are getting sick too.
7:09 am
what takeaway should we have from those numbers that we're seeing? >> first of all, there'snitely . so if you are in one state where you have poor control or not a great handle on the virus, and you go into another state where there's better handle, you know, you have the ability to destabilize. we also think there are super spreaders. only 10% to 20% of people infected cause about 80% of infections. those are super spreaders. as far as younger patients, the good thing is they don't get as sick and not as likely to get hospitalized. but remember, young patients have chronic conditions as well, and they can be severely ill and sometimes even die from covid-19. the other point to remember is they can act like a vessel, and they can transmit the virus to someone who is more vulnerable,

west point. so it was in that sense, a rather unusual speech. >> let me talk about the controversy over the fired prosecutor from manhattan. is this inside the belt way mishegas to use a little yiddish on a sunday morning or is this truly consequential? >> reporter: well, look. i think it could have been much more consequential than it ended up being. the president, his attorney general acting to remove the prosecutor who was investigating the president's personal attorney, and also a prosecutor that john bolton suggests that the president had promised to remove to turkey's president erdogan. so seemingly at least in appearance, but because berman refused to go at first, his deputy will be taking over, audrey strauss, and she vowed to continue the investigations. we'll see where it goes. it was at least by appearances an extremely consequential series of actions. >> jon, great to see you on a
