mask when he tours the facility. two people are detained in portland after a shooting. one person was hurt, they are expected to survive. witnesses say they saw a group of people fighting right before a shot was fired. it is not clear if the shooting was related to the protests. they were near a federal courthouse. the area has been the site of violence clashes with federal officers who were called to portland amid a going oig glong demonstrations. and a march started peaceful through downtown oakland, but some demonstrators set fire inside the courthouse, smashed window, spray painted graffiti and pointed lasers at officers. >> this is a bad image for the

line and of course it would save you time too. these pop-up testing sites are aimed at really getting the testing to the folks in the hardest hit communities and so often those are people who cannot afford to take off work. on this will aim at cutting down the wait times. three new pop-up sites this week. and so you can find all of the information on the county's website. julian glover, abc 7 news. happening today, the oakland zoo will welcome back is visitors for the first time since march. the general public can start visiting on wednesday. you do have to make online reservation, they are only allowing a certain number of people every day. visitors three or older do have to wear a mask. and the zoo said it could be forced to permanently close if hat they can get to reopen, so back to it.

and by the end of this week, we should have a better picture of the impact of coronavirus on the u.s. economy. more than a third of the companies in the s&p 500 are reporting their quarterly earnings this week. financial data said inthat earnings for the second quarter are on track to fall over 42% compared with last year. one thing that is starting to sell a gold. this is a tradition tradition tn haven. it hit a little more than $1900 an how long this morning. the previous record was in 2011. the move comes amid new concerns over u.s. and chinese tensions and recovering from the coronavirus pandemic. right now taking a live look at the stock exchange, you can see we're up now about 50 points.

at the live desk, google employees have reportedly been told that they will be working from home until july of next year according "wall street journal." this will affect nearly all of the 200,000 full-time and contract employees who work for google's parent company alphabet. employees have been working from home since march because the pandemic. many other tech companies have tent tentatively set their return gates to january but others could follow suit. and apple is helping its workers get to the polls come election day. the company is giving employees paid time off so they can vote. the policy also applies to retail workers. they will be given up to four hours to vote or roll untevolun you may soon be fined if the violate health orders during
