contained. crews are dealing where rugged terrain and temperatures around 100 degrees. firefighters from walnut creek have been deployed to that fire zone. and a fast moving wildfire has led to evacuations, the sites fire has already scorched 1,000 acres of land. the fire started late yesterday afternoon and these flames are now threatening about a dozen buildings. president trump's renomination vote could be done in private without members of th month's republican national convention in charlotte will be closed to the press because of the pandemic. they site but no final decisions have been made yet. the convention is set to start three weeks from today. and joe biden is expected to announce his pick for vice president in the coming days. a democratic congresswoman from california says being vetted for
