palo alto, up around napa, vacaville, also in fairfield some of the biggest cities right current have toxic airk aidt te thankfullyand this,ntns, the winds are fairly light. but around fairfield and vacaville, you can see that they are blowing from southwest to tortheastur and that is a little bit faster than it has been. and that will pick up the next couple days also as the seabreeze comes back. so you can see it is taking the 100s out of the forecast, but we're still in the mid to upper 90s in vacaville the next 7 to 8 days. and look at the winds, they will pick up around 20 mil o hf threou west to east as we head into the afternoon, evening and overnight hours. and that will help people that fire even more to the east and southeast. as you head up into the higher elevations, look at these temperatures, 85 around lake

the east, it does start to move into more populated areas. >> reporter: so they are saying this fire made a run to the northeast of armstrong woods at 1:30 this morning. and they are still gathering etails rightnow and getting them to us in real time. so stay with us as we continue to monitorone. we are hoping for morepd uat later this morning. but the message they really want us to push out this morning is that these evacuations are mandatory, they are worried that this could become a major event. and it could head toward a neighborhood so quickly and they worry about the traffic in and out of neighborhoods. so they want the roads cleared for fire trucks. so make sure that your neighbors and friends are getting out as

from about the san mateo bridge ut to the santa cruz mountains. that is unhealthy air for even. doppler 7 is on the par tick you could you lk there is so much that the radar thinks that it is and right now the wipnds are light but they will pick up, nearly 20 miles per hour by the evening hours. now we want to take a closer look at the north bay, the lightning complex fire has burned just over 32,000 acres with 0% containment. it is made up of at least seven

fires. >> and we'll continue the team coverage with julian glov. julian has been watching as structures are have burned this morning. and some were homes. >> reporter: unfortutenaly that structure that burned to the ground was also a home. this was showed you around 5:30. and we'll walk and talk here. this appears to be the front of the home. you can see so much of it is chaired at this point. so many of the embers still charring iide of this s w you t that this was a home. you can see some of the patio furniture, the grill, and look at that just into the distance, the pool. clearly the onlyy of waterod b as it completelyur t dneground. we are off of pleasant valley

road where we've seen two hesom. and you can see the tree in the front of the yard right here, pretty much halved by the fire. it is blocking off part of pleasants valleyfilt for some folks to try to evacuate and get out of here. we've heard from the fire chief that he is concerned about the northwest part ofhe city. 2,000 to 3,000 homes being threatened and these were the homes engulfed in those flames. but it is not just this portion of pleasantal vyle but two miles from where weo a get out of their home, cut the fire lines, trying to get their animals to safety. but unfortunately, they weren't able to save them all. listen in. >> so we came out here and it didn't look like it was going to get to us and then it came over

the hill over there and within 30 minutes, it was on top of us. so we just started doing everything we could, cutting the fire lines, loading ugspll a an catch. it was too late to get the horses out or the cattle or anything like that. and we stayed as long as we could trying to fight it. until it just got to where there were emberblowingewid s ayall ris.ght again, you are ta another look at the video of what we saw just a ways from where we are standing right now. a second home completely engulfed in flames. all that is left of that one is a chimney. and back to right now, what is left of this particular home that we're standing at. you see that right there, the hose? g sto a tand a chance aryinga
