the central bay and even into the south bay, it is green. runiin- in-windows, breathe in that clean air. it will be around for about three ts weekend we'll talk about that later. let's bask in the glory of some marine layer fog this morning. not smog, just fog. and today will be a little bit warmer because of the brighter sunshine. you may have noticed it yesterday afternoon. it was definitely warmer. and we're starting off a little bit warmer in the 60s this morning, 60s and 70s for us at noon, 60s and even a few 80s or 90s possible inland by 4:00. developing news we want to tell you about in san jose. police are investigating a shooting that left two people dead and three others youred. it happened around 10:00 last near margaret.

the shooting happened just a few blocks from san jose state's campus. and we're working to get more details. we'll bring you new information as soon as it comes in. happening today, we expect to hear from officials in the east bay about a agreeigrowing n regarding fire danger. it seems that people are lighting fires and trashing the place at grizzly peak. julian glover is live with what police are doing. >> reporter: yeah, exactly what we don't want to hear in reference to the fires and also the trash that is being left behind. but if you are headed to grizzly peak anytime soon, you will notice the increased police patrols as they try to crack down on any illegal fireworks or bonfires. and in a statement, berkeley police said there has been an increase in concern of groups setting off fireworks and lighting fire danger during this already

thechld. let's take a look at what is going on back here at home. the marine layer not only brought in clean air, but also a little bit milder air. you can see temperatures up to nine degrees warmer. in the east bay, we're around 57 to about 63. that is comfortable. and you can see temperatures mainly in the 60s until you get up to the north bay, santa rosa 57, napa 59. if you are thinking about doing outdoor activities today, just caution for those in the sensitive group especially in the south bay and also the east bay. that is mainly where the spare the air alert is. and notice friday and right now saturday and sunday, not in the spare the air. but i'm thinking saturday and sunday will be and that should say wednesday for the poor air quality. i apologize. the saturday and sunday likely will be put in spare the air. and when we come back, i'll show you the smoke forecast for the weekend. thank you, mike. good morning, everyone.

leandro is out of jail on $200,000 bail charged in a shooting death in april. jason fletcher was released from custody shortly after being detained in the deadly shooting of steven taylor at a walmart. police released body camera of the shooting. fletcher's attorney says his client will be acquitted. this week we're getting more resources to race and social justice. and part of the focus is hispanic heritage month. right now there is a big push to mae sure that hispanic and latino communitiesnities an undercount could cost seats in congress. last month in santa clara county roughly a quarter of households had not responded. >> i think that there is a lot of fear generally based on
