right along the shoreline. you might run into a little bit of low clouds if you're headed out so be careful. it is 60 in belmont. taking a look at the north feeling kind of cool with low 50s. 55 in napa, 60 in san ramon. visibility reduced in napa, santa rosa 1 to 2 miles, and looking at our 24-hour temperature change if you notice it is beginning to feel a little like fall, anywhere from 3 to 8 degrees cooler in our east bay and then 5 degrees cooler in our north bay. as we look at the shorter days that sun feels pretty good in the afternoon, but those nights getting longer and certainly cooling off. so warmer weather, smokier this weekend. looking at the warmer days especially tomorrow. that spare the air alert today and autumn arrives tuesday morning. here's a look what to expect in

the next 12 hours or so as we look a you can see a little bit of rain shower activity there. but notice the winds. this is the wind flow where winds are coming out of the north. that's why we think the fire from the august complex fire and the other fires in northern california will begin to move down into primarily the north bay and then into the east bay. so as we look at our smoke forecast in further detail, 8:00 this morning, the higher we are on the scale with the vivid colors indicates the least in terms of good air quality. so the worst air quality here for the north bay. continues to seng into 9:00 today. and as we get into your sunday doesn't look like a whole lot of change out there in terms of the smoke, but look what happens on monday, this gets pushed out of here to the north and northeast, and better air quality in time for the beginning of fall. so today the worst air quality certainly in the north bay, for us our inland east bay.

asymptomatic. asymptomatic. later reports stated guidance was pushed by white house and dhs officials over the objections of cdc experts. the cdc removed that language from their guidance yesterday. of course, we learned you can test positive for coronavirus even if you are asymptomatic. a coronavirus testing site focused on testing black oakland residents will open up today. the pop up community covid-19 testing site will open at the center of hope church parking lot off of mcarthur boulevard. it'll open from 9:00 this morning to 4:00 p.m. personal protective equipment will also be skribted at the event. ucsf, united in health, oakland front line healers and black organizations all partnered together to open up this site. and also today you can get a free flu shot in santa clara county county leaders just unveiled the program available

at the fairgrounds every saturday through mid-december. medical experts suggest getting your flu shot as soon as possible. the bay area and country are preparing for the threat of the flu season and a resurgence of covid-19. the saturday flu shot program at the santa clara county fairgrounds runs from 9:00 to 4:00 starting tomorrow, and you do not need an appointment. santa clara county has announced schools can reopen for in-person classes as early as next wednesday if they meet certain conditions. schools can open if their plans to do so are approved by county and state officials. those plans must include guidelines for social distancing and other steps to prevent the spread of covid-19. they're also encouraged to keep students in small groups or social bubbles. schools may opt to continue distance learning as well. and in san francisco, meanwhile, restaurants could move from outdoor to some indoor dining by october 1st. that's when the city expects to

na low to mid-50s. certainly cooler than we've been over the past couple of mornings. half-mile to a quarter mile visibility from napa to santa rosa. elsewhere not only good visibility but good air quality out there, but it is cuellar. temperatures 8 degrees cooler this morning in livermore as well as napa and cooler from the coast to north bay. mountain view, 5 degrees cooler than 24 hours ago. our forecast highlights including the warmer weather primarily tomorrow. today we're going to look at slightly hazier conditions up in the north bay due to some haze moving in. after today, though, air quality looking moderateally imovgs we g monday, and autumn begins on tuesday ad6:31 in the morning. as we look otour satellite and radar composet notice low clouds and fog and hangs right along the shoreline keeping that west wind going right at the surface and going into your sunday.

a little change, but we are expecting that warmup. north winds today allowing for perhaps these greens to turn yellow throughout part of the afternoon. looking north and east, not so likely in the south bay but perhaps into your sunday. but overall right now we have been enjoying the good air quality. looking to deteriorate north bay, inland east bay today and moderate air quality for everyone on sunday, although the temperatures coming up into the 90s again for our inland valleys. in the south bay today look for about 80 today in san jose, 74 in santa cruz, on the peninsula that west wind,um blfrom 7 alto. 76 in san mateo. with that spare the air alert you only get partial sun in the city with some fog. 64 daly city, and you head into the north bay and those north winds should allow for a bit of haze out there. mid to upper 80s for a warm day in santa rosa and calestoga. 75 oakland, 78 union city.
