earlier. still a few people coming by to check it out. freeman all over the bay area were out here earlier. still on this block there are a few people who live here who knew kamala when she grew up. >> amazing to see all the neighborhood people and come out and celebrate kamala's victory. >> she lives two doors down from kamala's childhood home. >> i remember my mother saying kamala, you're going to be the president one day. >> yeah. >> just joking, you know. >> sharon also knew harris growing up and send sent her a text this morning. >> she's busy. she may get it sometime during the week. >> as people danced on her street, she had a sense of pride for her neighborhood. >> anybody can become something that we never thought of. never thought i would know somebody who would be at the white house.

>> there's definitely a mix of feelings there from the latino community. many are excited for what the upcoming four years will mean for this north. democrats have been promising immigration reform for years. there are over 20 million latinos eligible to vote according to pugh research. today many in this community are celebrating. >> i'm here to celebrate a better and brighter future. >> i feel like my vote counted. i feel like it is history in the making. i was very proud to be a part of it. >> there's also a sigh of relief and expectancy. >> there has been a vindication for the pain we have felt this past four years. >> but it proved that there's no such thing as the latino vote. i'm hoping kamala harris also

keeps biden more accountable. >> not all latinos vote the same. more latinos voted for president trump in 2020 compared to 2016. >> as latinos, we're not a monolith. there's not a way to view these things. when you think about people coming from other countries, it's tied to not just their ethnicity, but often class and what status they had in their country. >> latinos this time around was his promise to create a path twooi citizenship. >> this is something we were promised under then president-elect barack obama and nancy pelosi that we were going to get a path to citizenship, that we were going to efficiency this immigration. we were let down before. i tell you that we can't be let down again. this needs to happen and it needs to happen yesterday.

cool but just fine. >> it was pretty dry for much of the day. the past couple of days, we had a few showers along the peninsula and parts of the south bay. again tomorrow, the chance for showers will be isolated. does look like some of us will see a little wet weather. we're all feeling the cool temperatures. in the 40s from clover dale to fairfield to clear lake. down to 52 in the city. so cool weather settling in over san francisco. 51 right now in san ramon. it is breezy in a few spots, especially close to the coast right now. you can see san francisco has a wind of 21 miles per hour but it's gusting to about 32. this is dragging in some cooler air to the north and we will have to contend with those winds for part of the day tomorrow. overnight tonight the north bay is going to get chilly.

we're dropping into the thirds from ukiah. on the bay shoreline in the mid 40s. it is breezy along the coastline again. let's track the chance for a shower. first thing tomorrow morning, a lot of sunshine. mainly any showers are off our coastline. as we head into the phenomenon i think our best chance of finding the isolated showers best chance is in points to the south. i think that chance is really limited to the afternoon say between 2:00 and about 4:00 p.m. otherwise, most of us are dealing with some windy conditions and intervals of sunshine. look at those wins tomorrow. closer to the coast. the faster the wind speeds are. 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning find the winds from san francisco, half moon bay, even san rafael, redwood city, gusting over 25 miles an hour. it stays pretty breezy

throughout the day. as we head towards the later portion of the night, the winds will subside. highs on our sunday, really similar to our temperatures today. you're going to feel that fall chill again after that cool start. pretty much only up to 58 in the city tomorrow. 61 in oakland. 59 in san francisco and the south bay has the best chance of an isolated shower in the afternoon. 61 in conquered. >> monday, tuesday, wednesday, we'll bounce back to the 50s and 60s. into the afternoon and then you can see deon and kristin, our next chance for wet weather is friday nate through saturday. >> lrmt. we will be watching. ♪
