says there is no intelligence indicating any insider threat to the inauguration even though every national guard member is undergoing a background check and breaking overnight "the washington post" reports the fbi has privately warned law enforcement that followers of the qanon conspiracy theory have discussed posing as national guard members to disrupt the inauguration. on monday tensions on the street running high. forced them into a lockdown delaying inauguration rehearsals. in the meantime, the u.s. army secretary is revealing how close it came to being a disaster. >> it came far too close. something like this should never happen. the country has the talent and resources to do anything but the preplanning and coordination and the intelligence were not really managed well and we were not in a position to be successful that day as a country. >> reporter: the fbi is targeting nearly 300 suspects who stormed the capitol combing through 200,000 videos and photographs. many of the tips coming from the suspect's own family members.
