[ laughter ] we have a super duper show for

[ cheers and applause ] we have music from michael mcdonald. and super bowl halftime show veteran, current "american idol" judge, katy perry is here. [ cheers and applause ] in the flesh. in the studio. it really was a night for the ages last night. i don't know if they mentioned this but tom brady won his seventh ring at a time when there are still people in this country who don't even have one. [ laughter ] brady became the oldest person to win a super bowl, and timothée chalamet became the youngest person to drive a cadillac. and even though he's the oldest, tom brady, you'd never know it from looking at him. >> being here with this group of guys every year is amazing. >> jimmy: he's an old goat. they kept mentioning that patrick mahomes, the quarterback for the chiefs, was only 6 years old when brady won his first super bowl. and then brady beat him, which makes sense. of course he's gonna beat a
11:38 pm
6-year-old. it's not even fair. it was a tough night for chiefs head coach, andy reid. not only did his team lose the game, he accidentally wore a g-string on his face. some very low-rent commercials somehow got on the air during the super bowl. some from companies i've never even heard of. like fiver, weather tech, dr. squatch, i was like "what are they doing here?" the ceo of oatly sang a song he wrote about oat milk. this guy paid $5.5 million, just to make sure we all know he's not a good singer. [ laughter ] maybe the best promo move was free. it cost nothing. it actually cost $500 in bail. a fan ran onto the field in a pink onesie to promote a porn website. which listen, we've spent a year in lockdown. everyone already knows every porn website. but the upside was radio announcer kevin harlan, whose play by play on this was the broadcast moment of the night. >> 5:03 to go.
11:39 pm
someone's run on the field, some guy with a bra. and now he's not being chased he's running down the middle, the 40, arms in the air, the victory salute, he's pulling down his pants. put up your pants, my man, pull up those pants, he breaks free of a security guard, the 20, the 10, the 5, and at the 1 they converge on him at the goal line. pull up your pants, take off the bra, and be a man! [ cheers and applause ] [ laughter ] >> jimmy: be a man? he ran around with his pants down on the field at the super bowl. what could be more manly than that? i only wish he was wearing nothing but a mask. tampa bay fans were not taking precautions. last night, they had a huge, mostly maskless celebration, while i was eating nachos through my n95. you can see there, jumping on cars, having a lot of fun.
11:40 pm
they all should be very, very ill. there you go, it's unfach because health officials are frustrated. they've spent the whole last year trying to educate people about the importance of masks and social distance. unfortunately, explaining science to people from florida is like explaining zoom to your turtle. speaking of scientists, mike lindell, the mypillow guy, seems to be the only soldier left fighting the election results. this weekend, he released a "documentary" that supposedly vindicates his claims of voter fraud. it's called "absolute proof." because you know what they say, the proof is in the pillow. mike lindell built himself a like, a talk show set with a mission to explain just how horrifying this bogus election was. >> whena say horrifying can you explain to everybody watching what horrified you? >> what we found was so horrifying.
11:41 pm
we were horrified by what we found. >> she was horrified by what we showed her. >> the more we found the more horrified we got. >> but what you seen horrified. >> yeah, they were horrified with what we showed them. they were all. >> they became horrified. it's horrifying >> jimmy: so horrifying we can't -- that's a man who has half a stuffed dog on his wall. this injustice suffered by donald trump, not only was it horrifying, some of the revelations are so surprising, you can't help but say "wow!" >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow. >> wow.

[ laughter ] >> jimmy: he's the original sham wow. [ applause ] in other conspiracy theorist is another pal of trump, lou dobbs was cancelled by fox business this weekend. i know. i'm pretty bummed about it too. [ laughter ] this is how i found out about it. lou dobbs tweeted, and then quickly deleted, "fox news has dropped 'lou dobbs tonight,' promoter of trump's false election fraud claims." i guess he didn't read the headline all the way through. and then, because nothing that comes out of fox can just be true, the guy filling in for him said this: >> good evening, everybody, i'm david, filling in for the vacationing lou dobbs. >> jimmy: the vacationing lou dobbs. that's like when you tell your kids the dog went to go live on a farm in the country. [ laughter ] that's it for us this evening, lou will be back on monday. >> jimmy: no, he won't. no. lou moved to fired island. he's not coming back, he gone. tomorrow, the senate will begin impeachment trial number two against donald trump.
11:43 pm
and lou is gonna miss it. trump is not expected to testify. donald trump doesn't like to put his hand on a bible unless peaceful protesters are being gassed nearby. the vast majority of republican senators appear poised to give tiger woods another mulligan. they say two things. number one, impeaching trump is unconstitutional because he's no longer in office. which is like, "your honor, bernie madoff is no longer running a ponzi scheme. can't we just leave the man alone?" and his lawyers are saying he's not responsible because people should have known he was using hyperbole when he told them to "fight like hell." and then they ran down the street yelling, the guy in the viking costume and the lady with the words "camp auschwitz" printed on her triple xl sweatshirt should know what "hyperbole" is. [ laughter ] the world has been refreshingly quiet with joe biden in the white house. i think this puts it in
11:44 pm
perspective. today biden wrote: "we don't have a second to waste when it comes to delivering the american people the relief they desperately need. i'm calling on congress to act quickly and pass the american rescue plan." four years ago today, this is what trump who was president tweeted: "my daughter ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @nordstrom. she is a great person, always pushing me to do the right thing! terrible!" [ applause ] i like that he admits he had to be pushed to do the right thing. [ laughter ] so tomorrow, donald trump will be back to yelling at his tv. tonight, we had a new episode of "the bachelor." tonight matt, the bachelor, got a visit from his best friend tyler, a former bachelorette contestant. and, i have to say, matt seemed to be a lot more excited about seeing tyler than he is about any of the women in the house. >> do you see yourself getting down on a knee at the end of this thing?
