information and we will bring you an update as soon as we get it. tiger woods waking up inned the hospital this morning after undergoing emergency surgery. he was seriously injured in a crash in crash california yesterday. jobina is tracking his condition. >> last night tiger woods' foundation put out a statement saying he's awake and responsive and recovering in his hospital room. he suffered a compound fractures to both upper and lower parts of his right leg and shattered his foot and ankle. rod, pins and screws had to be used to stabilize the injuries. the suv was left mangled after rolling downhill multiple times woodse ag hundreds of >> it is very fortutehat mr. woods was able to come out of this alive. the fact he was wearing his seat belt greatly increased the likelihood and saved his life.

will approximate allowed to open this morning. you can work out indoors. restaurants can also open their dining rooms. they will still need their outdoor dining areas though because they will only be able to allow in 25% of capacity. for instance, one restaurant we talked to, that means only four more tables for them. but they are still very happy to be able to welcome more customers and sell more meals. places of worship can also welcome in 25% of the building's capacity. and pastors say this really is what people need. >> with that, gonna have to be even more safer. but with the church people miss is being together. and them coming back is a joy to them. just seeing there is a brotherhood. and they love that. and that is what they really miss. besides the worship and the praying and the message. they really miss the fellowship.

>> as amy mentioned, gyms can also are reopen at 10% capacity. san francisco is inching closer to the red tier. with cases dropping the city lifted the mandatory travel quarantine. that 10-day quarantine was implemented in december following the postthanksgiving surge. health officials are still urging everyone to avoid non essential trips. while cases are dropping. san francisco is still in the purple tier because of the health equity score. it tracks case asks counties the virus hit the hardest. san francisco -- communities the virus hit the hardstest. so sf is expected to make the criteria next week. students in san francisco are one step closer to being back in the classroom. a health and safety plan agreed on to reopen schools. in the red tier inperson can re is vaccinated. no vaccine is needed in the orange tier.

the faa is investigating this emergency landing in the east bay. this small plane crashed into a car in livermore. fire officials say the plane lost power shortly after it took off from livermore municipal airport. there were two people on board but nobody got hurt. >> and the east bay crews have fished clean up after app oil spill near richmond's chevron refinery. they estimated about 500-700

dplons of a diesel water mix gushed into bay on february 9th. officials overseeing the clean up did say they didn't dedetect any shehan on the water over the shoreline but also observed no impact to wildlife. they took samples in the area and results are pending. the end of an era. after 36 years in business fry's electronics announced that it is shutting down today. the statement appeared on the website early this morning. a result of changes in the retail industry and challenges posed by the covid-19 pandemic. only four fry's locations were left in the bay area. but the company has 31 stores in 9 states. gamestop's chief financial officer resigned a month after the trading frenzy. jim belle is leaving the company on friday without an immediate replacement. his exit comes after the company's massive riseto
