against covid. good evening and thank you for joining you. >> abc 7 news reporter kate larson is part of our vaccine team, and she spoke with a voting member of the fda review committee about concerns and what comes next. >> reporter: a third covid vaccine is close to authorization. >> it's been a remarkable year in terms of science. >> reporter: dr. halle gantz is a member of the advisory committee. she said they met twice a year to discuss the plu vaccine, now, three times in three months to approve pfizer, moderna and now johnson & johnson. >> this will set the fis look at vaccinations in the future. >> reporter: johnson & johnson is one shot, and it will be stored in a refrigerator up to

tonight, five bay area counties confirmed to the abc 7 eye team that vaccine supply has stopped to all one medical practices. it follows complaints alleging ineligible plo ineligible employees and members go to the jump the line. we brought you the story last night, and now members say they

covid's still a threat. and on reopening schools, we know what happens when we don't put safety first. ignore proper ventilation or rates of community spread, and the virus worsens. fail to provide masks or class sizes that allow for social distancing, and classrooms close back down. a successful reopening requires real safety and accountability measures. including prioritizing vaccines for educators. parents and educators agree: reopen schools. putting safety first.
