information about a possible militia plot on or around march 94. it says the 3%ers militia group has discussed plans to take control of the u.s. capitol and remove democratic lawmakers. the threat is linked to a far right conspiracy theory pushed by qanon that falsely claims former president donald trump will be inaugurated on march 4th. that was inauguration day until 1933 when it was moved to january 20th. >> these types of threats that qanon continues to inspire impede us from doing the work we have to do, on covin voting right, on racial justice. >> the capitol complex remains surrounded with temporary fencing topped with raiser wire and some 5,000 national guard troops remain onsite and around the city. the threat less than two months after rioters stormed the capitol complex and threatened the lives of lawmakers. the senate plans to stay in session today. reggie? >> thanks jobina. on top of the senate's list,

taking up president biden's $1.9 trillion covid relief plan. there is a big change you need to know about. the president's agreed to limit who gets stimulus checks. the payments would now only go to americans making less than 80,000 dollars a year or households earning less than $160,000 a year. the caps are down from what was approved. president biden was forced to make the concessions to get the support of key moderate senate democrats. an update on the state's vaccination distribution plan. will be hosting a call at 9:00 this mortgage and we will bring you all the details as soon as they come in. california is making major changes to its vaccine policy. the state will now be focusing on vaccinating low income communities to speed up reopenings to. do that 40% of the vaccine supply will be allocated to 400

most of this year. the historic preservation commission had said the contract would not be extended. but yesterday afternoon reversed course and voted to keep it here fr another four years. there is one condition. the operator has to come up with a plan to turn down the noise from the generator and the bright lights at night. the san francisco supervisors still plan though to contest this. there is a proposed resolution to only have it here for one more year. and the board will vote on that next week. still a little bit of controversy surrounding this wheel and how long it will be here. but the focus today is just the fun of reopening. passengers will be carried on this wheel up to the top, all 150 feet high in the air starting at noon today. and i just looked online. there are ticketing still available. so go ahead and book some fun today if you have got some extra time.
