more californians will be eligible for the covid-19 vaccine. the state recommends eligible people reach out to the healthcare provider, people with these high risk conditions won't be required to provide documentation to verify their diagnosis. officials say appointment could be tough to come by until vaccine supply ramps up. of schools being shut down, the san frci union has approved the district's plan to return some students to in person learning. organizers with decreasing the distance held a rally in san francisco saying it is not enough. they marched from the square to civic center plaza where families demanded that all schools reopen full-time immediately. the district's plan includes returning students to in person learning by april 12th, parents

new detamorng, abc7haneat a r sh a man on duty in 2018. according to police, officer andrew hall was questioning a homeless man standing in the middle of sycamore valley road on thursday. officials say the man identified as 32-year-old tyrell wilson pulled out a knife in advance toward officer hall, that's when he fired weapon. wilson is in crth hospital. hall, who has been an officer for more than seven years, is now on paid administrative leave per department policy. will also shot and killed 33- year-old latimer arbor leader newark in november of 2018. police say he led officers on a chase and steered his vehicle toward an officer. however, witnesses at the time disputed that claim from police. >> we are elg , we

degrees for mountain view and san jose and upper 40s, mid 40s morgan hill, half moon bay as well, here's another live shot, look how pretty this is from the east bay looking out toward the bay bridge and san francisco. and santa rosa is currently at 42 so temperatures are a little bit milder this morning because of extra cloud cover. napa and fairfield, 44 degrees. so, on the storm impact scale we are ranking today's storm a one out of five. so it is light. it starts this afternoon in the north bay, slide south and then moves through the evening hours, turning into showers for tomorrow with this system will be a lot of strong gusts, so, be careful if your driving and then on monday particularly, there is a chance for thunderstorms and hail after the front passes through it is going to be very cold, we might even see me snow unto on how it plays out. by noon, still mostly dry for all of us. and you will notice by about four clock in the afternoon, the reign of hitting the

northbay, heavy at times or moderate, we see areas of yellow and the pink and white, that is the snow moving through by the 8:00 hour, it will slide through most of the bay area and then notice by midnight, the storm and the front passes through. but as it wraps around we will see the pop-up showers and even some of the cold effects of this system with the snow there and also just east of san jose. so, here's a look at rainfall estimates generally about a quarter of an inch around bay area. we could get a little bit more along the coast and in parts of the northbay as well and most of this rainfall will fall or will hit us in the evening hours. temperatures today are definitely on the mid 50s to low 60s. 55 in san francisco, 59 in oakland, 60 in san jose and here's the accuweather seven-
