person learning, my kids are going to get 40 hours total for this entire school year. >> reporter: back to you. students will come back to class full time in mount deablo at the start of the new schoolsc year, september 12th. parents will have the option for virtual school. and today, california released new rules for school graduations, many in-person ceremonies canceled or postponed because of the pandemic as you know, among the new requirements, school must allow for two hours between ceremonies, seating should be assigned by household, households should be seated 6 feet apart and face masks must be warn. the state also advised against handshaking and hugs to comply with physical distancing rules. the state released new guidelines for reopening

amusement parks like disneyland. parks limit visitors to 25% capacity n . door rides will be limited to 15 minutes and only members ever the same household should board the same ride vehicle. park visitors will be permitted to eat and drink only in designated areas, you can not walk around and eat without face protection, disney previously announced that it will reopen by late april. it is the parent company of abc 7. in about two weeks time the federally run mask vaccination site at the oakland coliseum will close down. the health officials are in talks to take over operations. the april 11th date is when the state's partnership with fema actually comes to an end. in all, workerthe coliseum administered more than 200,000 shots. tomorrow, the city of san francisco is having a pop up vaccination site. this is the first of three saturday clinics. now, we know you have a lot of

i will show you a live picture tonight. we are looking at san francisco and it is just sparkling. ke ok athais going to happen. the temperatures tomorrow morning at the coolest point in the 40s primarily. as we head towards the lunch hour. notice how nice it is. if you want to grab some food, eat outside and enjoy fresh air, the temperatures in the comfort zone and as we head into the afternoon we will see 70s popping up in our inland values, it was warmer today and as we go into tomorrow that is going to continue a live look from our camera. visibility is good and so is the air quality for the next three days, something to look forward to. here is a look at live doplar 7 and the entire coastline of california, itas high pressure has built in. that is going to continue. the temperatures right now anywhere from the 30s to the 50s, they will bottom out at 37 degrees at half-moon bay. so, definitely on the cool

and then, like, lining up all the different parts that you can saw blade? >> and then once you build everything, and then you see it, like, right in front of your eyes, like, "wow, i built that, i actually built that," i think that's the coolest part of everything. >> we end up leaving with this, like, incredible confidence that they can kind of do anything. and i think it applies to things outside of building, also. the ability to, like, take chances and try new things, i think are incredibly important. >> they give you projects, and you're helping, like, locally, and you're, like, doing so much for the community, and you're helping with yourself by learning so many new things. and i think it's just a good feeling because a lot of the times, the things that you do on your own, they're not really helping anybody. but this one, it's just like you know you're having a positive impact, and, like, that's all of the projects that you do here at girls garage. >> we build those things for them. and so this particular project came about through a partnership with an organization called

opportunities for self sufficiency. so we've been building desks for the young people who are living in the conditional housing. >> it represents girls following their dreams. it represents, you know, people from all different backgrounds, all different places, and just supporting girls in that aspect. >> last summer, because of covid, we were forced to run one of our team programs on zoom. and so instead of canceling, we gave everything single girl a fully stocked toolbox with 20 different tools that they got to keep. and we ran our program, and the built their projects. and then after that program ended, i kept getting texts and e-mails from girls, like, "i fixed my toilet," or, "i built a bench." and they were still using these tools. and it just reminded us that we have to make sure girls are equipped as builders and creators not just while they're here, but when they're at home and in the rest of their lives. whoo! that was a lot of work, and we learned so much. >> emily does a really incredible job in the program
