10,000 doses from the state each week. we have about 30,000 residents are just between the age of 50 and 64. >> marin county is ready for the logistics. there is a common theme. not enough supply for thursday. we contacted the state. after several hours we finally heard back. they said the state is a waiting on more vaccines from the federal government. this week they got 2.1 million doses. once they get a dose for you they said they will notify you. california is projected to receive a 2.5 million doses per week by the first half of april and 3 million a week by the first half of april. their plan is to vaccinate everyone in waves. when we talk about vaccinations for covid-19 you can add zoo animals to the list. the oakland zoo is going to vaccinate all of its primates along with other animals like

santa clara, san mateo and marin counties. the orange tier indoor capacity in places like restaurants and movie theaters and allows outdoor bars to open without serving food and opens up bowling alleys as well as indoor pools. because of this change, the oakland a's will open more fans for the opening game at the coliseum set for thursday. tickets are on sale now and must be bought in advance. you can see the coliseum and ballpark area to the right of this screen. today was the first day of school in person for some oakland unified students after more than one year of distance learning because of the pandemic. bringing students back will be a gradual process and starts with the youngest kids pre-k through second grade. leah melendez is in the newsroom. i can only imagine how much of him an emotional day it was for many people. >> i saw parents taking lots of pictures. the young kids i saw were happy to meet up with their friends and finally meets their teachers in person. one teacher put it this way. she said covid-19 took something from us we are getting back today. that is little people and
