anybody above the age of 16 can sign up for a corona vaccine. in santa clara, the biggest mass site, they set a record of 12,000 appointments booked today. look at the crowds. looks like a minors game. allowed ed go up to 10,000 this week. a giant pile of the stickers people get for their observation wait times. when they get done waiting they take the stickers off and turned into an art display. all of us, it is a part of guarding our health, even though everybody can theoretically get a shot, the question is can you get an appointment to get your shot. we had stephanie keeping an eye out all day long and checking in

with her all day long. stephanie, what is the latest? >> reporter: the latest is we had two appointments pop up in the oakland site. but in seconds they disappeared. adam has been tracking this. the best luck so far in napa, sonoma and also counties. >> everybody in california can access the administration. as 16 million californian become eligible for the vaccine, the state's limited supply left a slim opportunity to snag a spot. abc 7 has searched the site and other resources like vaccine finder to find appointments in every bay area county. we have had no luck. >> i'm concerned that the people who need the vaccine the most may now get tramped over by the rest of the population.

>> reporter: mike wasserman sits on the vaccine advisory committee. they met this week to discuss the state's progress, prioritizing equity. the goals are falling short. >> and we are not going to take our eye off that ball. >> one thing to say you are prioritizing and it's another thing to actually execute. >> reporter: according to california's latest metrics. 37ing%37 percentage vaccinated. p poorest is only 23%. >> those areas have been lagging behind. >> reporter: the solution relies on vaccine supply. they received 1.5 millio doses this week, a slight increase. >> i think there is still good confidence we are going to have a good amount of vaccine. there has been concerned that the johnson & john san pause might have an impact. but it is only representative of 4% of the vaccine here in

expansion comes four months after it started in the bay area. back on december 15th, 2020, zuckerberg general hospital was the very first to get the shot. >> i trust the fda's process. i trust the experts we have at this hospital who have seen the data, looked at it. we all, you know, believe that this is a safe vaccine. i wouldn' have administered it on myself if i didn't think it was safe. >> and within days all counties were administering the shots. started with healthcare workers and then to anybody over 65 as we continue with the timeline. by february mass vaccines opened upped, levi stadium at santa clara and the oakland coliseum and that i want provided thousands of shots per day. eligibility continued to expand. anybody over 16 with certain underlying health condition, they could get a vaccine shot.

some local counties moved faster than that. in the last few weeks about half the bay area vaccinated everybody above the age 16 before the state made it visual today. if you have questions about the vaccine process, feel free to ask. we have our own team. just go to abc 7 and click on the blue box. this is also the first day you can take in a game, show, or concert indoors, as long as it meets state and local guidelines. those include things we have become familiar with, like capacity limits. a county's tier level will depend on how many inside. some may need a coronavirus test or vaccine. the fair will be back this year, a little later than usual. the fair is being moved from its traditional dates from june and july to october. anticipating guests will be required to prepurchase tickets online for specific dates and

attendance will be limited. tickets went on sale for the san mateo county jail. there will be fewer crowds and visitors must make a reservation. first day of ticket sales disney land. the park reopens on october 30th after being closed for a year. currently only residents are allowed to buy tickets. aquarium opening may 1st, tickets in advanced. only members can visit in the first two weeks and then open to the general public. in santa clara, opening the weekend before memorial day, may 22nd. and here is another thing. taxes have been pushed back now due may 17th. coming up next, the tension rises in windsor, the town

greet morning computers. warm surge through the bay area with a chance of some record highs on sunday and a cooler pattern will develop next week. now, as we look at the overnight conditions, you can see it will start with mainly clear skies, but over the morning hours clouds pushing across the bay and locally inland. even possible there could be a spot or two of isolated drizzle, although not likely and not widespread and later in the morning the clouds will clear away and mainly sunny skies going into the evening hours. during the morning hours as the fog makes its presence known, temperatures mainly in the mid-40s and tomorrow under mainly sunny conditions with some lingering fog at the coast and mid-50s at the coast. warming up around the bayshore line with highs mainly in the mid to upper 60s and push inland mid to upper 70s tomorrow, close to 80 degrees in the warmer locations. that's the beginning of the

warmup. saturday, low to mid-80s in inland areas. low 70s around the bayshore line, but upper 50s on the coast. still enough of a marine influence to keep the temperatures from warming up very much there. but certainly warm inland. and sunday the warm up reaches its peak and reaching 90 degrees in the warmest inland areas and monday still warm, but the warm peaked and start to retreat a little bit. look at the intermission for next week. we are given an indication of how dry it's going to be. there will be some little impulses that might produce some light morning drizzle on tuesday here in the bay area. that will be about it for precipitation for us. and later next week and into the following weekend there is a chance of rain cing in on saturday april 24th, but we will leave the details of that for next week. right now 7 days ahead, sunny

social service agencies. >> putting all the partners under the same roof to have a team information will reduce the trauma of having to be interview and reinterviewed multiple times by three to five partners. >> observers from allied agencies can ask one time the difficult and sometimes subservient questions of a child's physical or sexual abuse. >> it will be recorded so if it needs to be used in court, it will reduce the trauma by having them not live it again and again. >> increasing during the pandemic t 483 cases last year was an increase. there is concern the number will rise in the months ahead. >> as we get past this pandemic and back to our normal lives, sadly there will be more children reporting physical and sexual abuse. >> reporter: they say that's because children during the
