"say their names." here is a look at the gathering last night. there were about 100 protesters that marched through the mission district, many with signing calling for defunding, disbanding and abolishing police, calling for that in the light of the last two shootings of daunte wright. an event is planned for tonight in oakland it felt the city has put out a statement officials will fatill will put out peaceful demonstrations and residents and business owners should take steps to protect their property, secure and bring in trash cans, light up the business or home if possible, just to be on alert.

morin county is relaxing covid-19 restrictions to align with the state guideline orange tier. a three household limit on private gatherings has been lifted and outdoor gatherings can have up to 50 people as long as they are wearing masks and practicing social distancing. while the county is strongly discouraging indoor gatherings, that is allowed with a maximum capacity of 25 people or 25% capacity of the room. doors and windows have to be open for ventilation, social distancing and eat and drink only in designated areas away d from others.

in the south bay detectives are continuing to investigate after the owner of a los gatos bakery was arrested for allegedly sex crimes. a month ago they got a report of a sexual assault at momma's bakery. while investigating they determined the owner often offered female customers bread- making lessons at the bakery. during the lessons the owner would green beret the women. he is now facing sexual battery charges and investigators believe there may be more victims and asking anyone with information to contact them. new developments in the ongoing battle between pg&e and the state. regulators are directing the utility to improve its safety performance and power lines. the california public utility commission placed pg&e in the first step of an enhanced oversight and enforcement process. they say the utility did not sufficiently prioritize clearing vaccination on its highest risked power lines last

year and must submit a collective plan and progress report every 90 days. in a statement pg&e says it takes the feedback seriously and has already implemented improvements. >> i hope so, because it looks like the fire season is coming earlier this year. let's take a look at what is going on temperaturewise. lafayette 39 degrees. san are roan 40. a lot of mid to upper 40s in our inland and east bay neighborhoods until you get to antioch at 50. 40s in the north bay, fog in santa rosa. low to upper 40s around the bay to 50 right now in san jose. this is the way it looks from mt. tam. it looks pretty clear from this advantage vantage point, at least from the bay bridge. the clouds will spread a little bit and retreat back to coast keeping knew the 50s while we hit 56 to 58 in the north bay,

in the east bay we are showing you the problem with homeless encampments. the unhoused are butted up against one another the entire link. a new audit says they were not prepared to deal with the encampments, in fact, oakland wa overwhelmed with the crisis. the city lacked a strategy ored a cat spending plan the confront the crisis an auditor said. the report said the city spent $12 billion the last two years of unbudgeted money dealing with encampments and paying out a workers' compensation claim for a city employee and the insufficient training for workers. >> city workers are being threatened with guns, axes, aggressive gscovid, feces

released in the shooting death of a 13-year-old boy late last month. we want to warn you this video the difficult to watch. last night protesters took to the street to condemn the shooting death of adam toledo, hours after the body cam video was released showing toledo with his hands in the air when he was shot. the officer responding to the reports of shots fired chased him down an alley yelling to see his hands. he stopped and quickly turned around and the officer fired a shot. yesterday chicago's r held back tear as she plead for peace. >> watching these young people, beautiful and magnificent but traumatized by the violence they experience everyday, everyday. have to do things differently. >> the officer said the boy had a gun in his hand. you can see a handgun a few

if you have questions about the vaccine process you can ask the abc7 news vaccine team by going to abc7news.com/vaccine and click on the big blue box. a group of parents are threatening to sue the fremont school district if in-person learning does not resume. the east bay times reports an attorney representing the parents sent a letter demanding to the district that classrooms reopen by april 26. two weeks ago officials announced students would continue remote learning for the rest of the school year because they can't come to an agreement with the union. the district is demanding a renewal letter. well, six women accused dominic foppoli of sexual assault over a span of 16 years. the mayor of windsor denies these accusations and made it clear he had no plans to stand down after a public meeting.

700 windsor residents have already pledged their support online to recall foppoli. >> i think it is important to everyone in windsor that has a basic sense of decency. >> a sheriff's investigation into the case is ongoing and the mayor declined our repeated request for an interview texting my lawyer won't let me. the life and legacy for prince philip. the ceremony plans under way. >> and california's drought conditions. this morning we have more facts about those. mike, what are they? >> the facts are not good. what you are seeing on the right there is how we came out of the rainy season last year. you know it was an abnormally dry one. half the state was under some type of drought including the bay area. look what happened during the rainy season, put that in quotes, this past winter. nothing happened, really. we were anywhere from a 30% to 40% of where we should have

been and the drought deepened. in fact, look at that. we are in red in parts of the north bay, then red to dark red, which is extreme, the highest level, on the border right there with nevada. so, we went from about half the state being in a drought to 99% of the state now being in a drought. that was after the rain year. oh, help us if we have another rain year next year like we have had these last two. already talking about water rationing in morin county, or water restrictions. that could spread throughout the rest of our neighborhoods as we head through the summer, for sure. the fire season will start earlier than normal. temperatures mid to upper 40s along the east bay. partly cloudy conditions. we have low to mid-40s in the north bay. 42 in mountain view, 47 in san francisco, 50 in san jose and los gatos. 42 in pleasanton to 52 in pittsburgh, inland east bay. cloudy conditions in san jose

disneyland opens for two weeks after being closed for a year, april 30th. you need to make a reservation online for the day you want to enter the parks. disney is a parent company of abc7. and universal hollywood reopens to the public later this morning. it has been closed for more than a year because park is reo 25% capacity with attendance limited to california residents. masks are required, except when eating at designated concession areas with no more than six guests per table. fans are excited to revisit old attractions and check out some new ones! >> i am so happy to be back at
