a woman went in to get a pfizer shot and instead a nurse injected her with a moderna dose and she called abc 7 news. luz pena spoke to the woman about what she has experienced and how she thinks it could have been prevented. >> reporter: it was the second shot, dina thomas had been waiting for. what she felt was panic after that needle was pulled out. >> she skid me, did you tell them pfizer. i said yeah of course i told them pfizer. i got pfizer for the first dose too. she said well your file was flagged as being moderna. and i said what? >> chris: vi na says says says noticed the card said pfizer moments after vaccinating her. >> it seemed to be error. i had told them three different times it should be pfizer for my shot. so obviously it's in the

medical words because i got vaccine there. i was called to cdc myself to see if they had any reports of anyone receiving two different doses. >> reporter: the c dc highlights that these vaccines are not interchangeable but there was no risk. >> reporter: there's certainly no danger to >> reporter: dr. monica gandhi says vaccine mixing is already happening in the uk to see if it will have an increased benefit. >> there was a study in mice that showed if you gave two different types of vaccine what's called like the johnson & johnson and an rna you got a better response. >> reporter: el camino says they're investigating. we have administered more than 31,000 vaccines using careful vaccine administration. and stringent safety protocols.

rainfall did not provide enough of a rainfall total. >> resulting in east bay being the driest year on record. >> reporter: most of east bay mud's water supply came from sierra's snow melt. it's only at 40% so it's apparent that the water supply this year will not be sufficient to meet consumer and storage demand. >> in a unanimous vote the state decided to declare a stage 1 drought. >> a stage one drought means that we would likely ask for voluntary conservation. and we may also purchase supplemental water supplies through our free port water facility. >> reporter: the last drought in 2014 and 2015 that means the district wants to act sooner to procure water supplies and sooner . keep washing hands but shorten showers and let lawns
