meteorologist with more on the windy conditions . we started out with a lot of wind. we do have some spaces close to the coast saw wind gusting in excess of 50 miles per hour. the wind will stick around for another day tomorrow. at the peak. sfo has 53 miles per hour. everywhere across the bay area, the wind was gusting between 20 and 40 miles per hour. the onshore flow keeps us on the cooler than average side. the wind has backed off a bit. they are still pretty strong. san francisco is gusting over 20. it is the same at half moon bay. the elevated wind will keep us on the mild side. the wind will cause an issue in solano county. we have a red flag warning with high fire danger. we are already talking about it. it starts tomorrow morning. it will last 5:00 p.m. on tuesday. the wind out of the north will

drop humidity levels down. any fires that dart could spread quickly. we will take a closer look at the wind, and the warmer temperatures. to make that sounds good, thank you. the strong, gusty wind had emergency crews on the run this afternoon. trees blew over and power lines broke loose. in one case, men escaped with his life when a huge pine tree came crashing down.>> reporter: the tree roots were ripped from the ground of this park. the 90 foot pine tree toppled over, briefly trapping a man beneath its branches. he did manage to crawl out. paramedics took him away in a wheelchair. he is expected to be okay. be o a dangerous scene a few miles south between the 101 and 283 freeways. energized wires broke loose. the street was shut down while a pg&e crew repaired the lines. >> the wind knocked down a 30 foot tall tree.

this weekend. we were at a clinic in fremont that is a partnership between the fire department and haller's pharmacy. it will be open once again tomorrow. appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. organizers say people should have no trouble getting a shot now. >> now that it is open to the general public, there is so much access. they can go to local pharmacies and get vaccines regularly. >> reporter: if you cannot make it this weekend, there are clinics planned next weekend. speaking of, contra costa county has temporary walkup vaccine clinics. one is that the youth development center, and the other at st. john's baptist church in richmond. no permits are not needed, the sites are only eligible for county residents. they are open from 9:00 until 4:00, through tomorrow. if you need to get the covid-19 vaccine, there is a new way to find out where you can get a shot. the white house senior advisor for covid-19 response tweeted that you can text your zip code to the number on your screen.
