hanging over our head as we wake up and that is the fire threat. be vigilant this afternoon. as far as the winds being fairly calm where we live, 9 at sfo, 8 at santa rosa and 5 to even calm this morning. it is definitely up in the hills and solano county where we have the biggest issue with the dry breezes blowing, keeping temperatures very mild this morning. we are in the 50s and 60s and arm warmer this afternoon with mid to upper 60s along the coast, mid san mateo, oakland and even 90s at the at a great mother's day weekend coming up. more than 20 people are dead and dozens of other people are injured after an overpa

carrying metro trains collapsed in mexico city. the train landed on a road below. there were children among the people that died and more than 70 people are injured. we will take you live to the scene in a few minutes. rescuers at this point are trying to get people out of train cars and tangled wires. the city's mother says that a support beam gave way. this overpass has been plagued by complaints and accusations of irrities about its constrsa francisco internationainvestatis moin in the leg when someone carjacked her in front of the grand hyatt hotel near the entrance to the terminals. police say it happened just before 8:00 and the victims are borough described at non life- threatening. some planes kept passengers on board as all of this was

see dead trees in some areas, alarming to some firefighters in the east bay regional park district which covers 123,000- acres in the bay area. >> when you have trees that are dead and standing like that, the fire dangers will have them throwing embers aloft into the wind. >> reporter: the fire chief say there is are a thousand acres of dead trees scattered among brush in the parkland located in alameda and contra costa counties. the park district has been working to remove them and will up their efforts next week in the redwood regional park. some of the dead trees are in tildon regional park and while some we talked to there didn't notice any differences -- >> it is a little drier than it would normally be, but ingerag >> others do notice changes that have come earlier in the season. >> the fuel is everywhere you walk.

he wandered off somewhere else. let's take a look at what is going on in the 24-hour temperature change in. solano county the winds are less than they were yesterday. it is significantly warmer, about 4 to 8 degrees warmer. mid to upper 50s across most of the east bay. castro valley 51 and fremont 52. concord, antioch, brentwood, novato, santa rosa, all in the 60s while most of us are in the 50s around the bay, even a few 40s along the coast. we have the micro climates going there. it will get bigger and bigger throughout the day. 62 to 80 is the spread at noon. 66 to 85 inland at 4:00 with 78 around the bay. then 50s, 60s and 70s coast, bay and inland by the time we get to 7:00. it will be a nice evening out there. the commute, the fire danger is only the real big thing, smooth out on the bay. it is cool this morning, but it
