clear skies and high pressure with us again and winds 40 to 45 miles an hour in the red area from the east bay to upper elevations right now but by the afternoon, they were lower into the lower elevation and 20 to 30 miles an hour winds to the north and mount diablo 40 to 45 and bringing warming this morning compared to yesterday morning and san rafael. it was 94 there yesterday and 56 in san jose and 54 oakland, san francisco, and walnut creek. a beautiful view here with a clear sky and low 60s up in nevado and upper 60s by the delta and concord 59 and 53 in livermore so for all the moms

out there, temperatures climbing quickly once today. crews were able to contain the two alarm fire within an hour and tay were able to safely evacuate with no injuries and the investigation into the cause is underway. pg and e was called in to inspect wires but power was restored in the a shed and two vehicles were burned. fire fighters called in to investigate a fire before 8:30 last night and burned about three acres.

fire fighters say it burned through a couple homeless encampments and several oak trees and nobody was hurt though. crews got the fire under control within a few hours. in the afternoon, a fire burned near los lagos golf course and it was under control quickly too. in solano county it didn't take much for a spark to burn into a fire. those winds that have triggered a red flag warning pushed to about 45-acres. fire fighters got it under control. >> i got scared. i was running around and locked up one dog because he was a little antsy. >> anthony wright called 911 the moment he saw smoke and flames near the property on lokes road. the fire was making a run up the hill fueled by acres of dry grass and cal fire calling in extra grouped crews and air
