part and we do the spice rub and then we're going to put it on the grill. and that's going to go for -- i like to let it go for a couple of hours, just really let it develop the flavor and let that spice rub get in there. really good stuff. we put a little olive oil on there first so that the spice rub sticks. all right, let's remove the gloves. and we're going to move to the next portion. >> are we doing the side dish now? >> which is the potato salad. >> so while you've got that going on the grill you have a side dish to show us. janai and i are going to get ready to work on this. this is the one time we'll be able to successfully collaborate hopefully. >> i told them to hold the raisins. >> this is a porter house potato salad. we got a little celery, eggs, bell peppers. onion.

of course, we got to have a little mayonnaise to bind everything together. and our spices are celery salt and a little garlic, pepper -- i mean a little garlic, ground garlic, we're going to stir that up. let that get nice and beautiful. >> and, gregory, okay, back to the ribs real quick. while we are saucing these ribs with your butter barbecue sauce you're a grammy-winning musician. so does this inspire a song? >> well, it does. ♪ everything you touch is gold ♪ ♪ that is why my soul is shining ♪ >> so, yeah, we're going to touch these ribs with a beautiful butter barbecue sauce. >> we love that, gregory.
