a follow breaking news in the miami, florida, area. up to 25 people shot and two killed in a mass shooting at a concert banquet hall. police say just after midnight, three suspects pull up in a white nissan pathfinder and started shooting into the crowd. we know someone rushed to the hospital. the suspects are still on the loose. police say they believe this was a targeted attack in some way. just a sad way for people celebrating memorial day weekend or having a nice holiday weekend. we will keep you updated on new details as they become available.

person's life who has been impacted. provide some emotional and spiritual support for them. >> reporter: the home of the suspected gunman is no boarded up. police have left the neighborhood. police detonated what was thought to be a suspicious device found that cassidy's home. investigators revealed the alleged vta gunmen had an arsenal of weapons. he simultaneously set his home on fire while he shot and killed nine of his coworkers at this vta railyard wednesday. >> there was a pot on the stove, the stove was likely turned in. inside the located ammunition. around the pot there was accelerants. >> reporter: investigators uncovered 25,000 rounds of ammunition, a dozen guns and 17 molotov cocktails. they say cassidy's guns weren't locked away. stash near different doorways, ready to use. at the railyard, cassidy first

pushing the strategy even further, starting in the mission district. >> we are going door to door. we are creating a new campaign. vaccinating people at home and doing a lot more pop-ups. not trying to vaccinate hundred but maybe 20 people. >> reporter: the latino task force volunteers go door to door at least six times a week hoping to make contact with at least 500 people a day. the goal is to continue making the vaccine appointments because inject 2 weeks they'll be giving shots at home. the doctor says the vaccine strategies and outreach is key to stopping covid-19 from mutating. >> if there are pockets of people unprotected, it can allow the virus does to have a place to go person-to-person. >> reporter: if a san francisco resident wants to get vaccinated at home, what should they do? >> and speak with the service

provider. if they have a case manager or social worker. >> reporter: the department of public health is also doing their own outreach. with text messages like this making it easier to book appointments at local sites. cavanal is pouring efforts into vaccinating the community. instead of holding the annual parade. cavanal will continue today from noon until 5:00. organizers set up a vaccination and resource fair in the mission with shots available at three locations. the group says latinos make 50% of the population but half of all positive cases in san francisco. >> when the pandemic kid, we knew our community needed our support. the community has always given to us. they felt this was our time to give back fully. >> there is no parade, it wouldn't be cavanal without live entertainment.

here's a live look our tower cam. you can see the fog. it's a beautiful shot. police are cracking down on possible sideshows this holiday weekend. officer stopped 50 cars and issued more than a dozen citations friday night in antioch. it heaven or the summersville town center. one person was arrested and five cars were towed. police say they plan to continue these efforts through the weekend. the start of a construction project could cause delays for those on the peninsula by the san mateo bridge. the foster city and san mateo project will last a little more than a week so expect lane closure sand delays at

the one day warmth at the shoreline. probably busy there with traffic and slowly cooling off the rest of the week. >> got to love those microclimates. a warning from a mother after her teenaged daughter was severely burned trying to imitate a video she saw on tiktok. kimberly said on may 13, she heard her 13-year-old destiny screaming. she found her daughter in the bathroom on fire. she believes destiny was copying a tiktok video where someone draws a shape using a flammable liquid on a mirror and light set on fire. the seventh grader suffered third-degree burns and will be in the hospital for at least two months. >> people say watch her kids closely. closer if you have to. they will get mad at you, so what? it's your child's life. it can change instantly.

>> she said she doesn't blame tiktok. she blames the users who upload these videos without warning. the veteran television actor who steered the love boat has died. the family of gavin macleod confirmed the actor died yesterday. he starred in the mary tyler moore store as a wisecracking tv news writer. he later moved on to the love boat plaguing captain stooping. family members say his health had been declining. gavin macleod was 90 years old. a grammy award-winning singer bj thomas has also died. he passed away yesterday from complications related to lung cancer. thomas was a country and pop success number hits like hooked on a feeling and i can't help believing. raindrops keep falling on my head was his signature recording. it was featured in butch cassidy and the sundance kid.

we are following breaking news out of miami, florida. more than 20 injured at a mass shooting. two people are dead. shots were reported at a banquet hall that was being used for a concert. it happened just after midnight. our abc affiliate in miami say

covid-19. abc news learning that after assessing the data already collected, it became clear to the top officials that a large amount of information had yet to be fully analyzed. carnival cruise is getting the go-ahead to set sail in texas and florida. the cdc signed off on their plans to resume operations from three home ports. port miami, poor canaveral, and out of galveston. carnival said it's another step closer to putting three ships in service in july. it yet to be seen if they will start with volunteer passengers on full sailings. citing the recent rise in unruly passengers, american airlines said it will not offer alcoholic beverages in the main cabin until at least september. beverage service was halted last year at the start of the pandemic to limit contact between passengers and flight attendants. the airline sent a memo yesterday explaining it will
