2:00 p.m. here on abc7. a coyote got dangerously close to babies. a week and a half ago, layla boyle was at the botanical garden with her 5-year-old son and 1-year-old twins. she said a coyote wandered onto the lawn and got close to her son and they made loud noises to scare it away. >> it ran away, i grab my son, i confirmed he hadn't been touched and i looked at my daughter and the coyote had gone to her. >> she said the coyote was not really being aggressive but was just a foot away from her daughter and unfazed by all the partygoers who are yelling. another mom said she was there the same day and the coyote charged at her 1-year-old daughter. she said she had to dive towards her daughter to save her. officials have been meeting
