perhaps pursuing some of our citizens. back the county agencies don't have authority to reduce the coyote population. they say the issue has been brought to fish and wildlife. all right. look at this, and you're getting a lot of animals today from us. we have new video of a mountain lion spotted in petaluma. this is in the backyard of this man. this is jo jo jo jo jo jo security camera footage. he said he spotted the mountain lion at his home on wednesday. he said he jumped the fence into the backyard and strolled around a little bit. eventually it left. local authorities were searching for the mountain lion. the police alert from wednesday said that it was last spotted in the hills beyond hayes lane. >> the animals, do you know what they are saying? we liked it better when you were in the pandemic and we had free reign. >> okay, dr. dolittle >> thank you for that.

fireworks in the city over the holiday weekend in emeryville. this is a great spot to see fireworks across the bay into san francisco so long as there is no fog. the city plans closures at palestrina and frontage road. the area between skyland boulevard and centennial boulevard in oakland will be closed all day on the fourth of july. the goal is to prevent fires, crowds and illegal parking the lookout points. there will also be several street closures round lake merit including parts of grand avenue and lake this map will give you a better idea of the locations and the streets will be closed all day saturday and sunday. that is a heads up if you're heading out there. we put together a list of events happening around the bay area for the fourth of july. go to our website at abc7news.com. the massive search and rescue operation in surfside, florida resumes this morning. concerns about the structural damage and remaining condo

building stalled yesterday. we have more on the visit from the president and that. >> as of this morning 18 are confirmed dead, one 45 still missing. search and rescue crews are back at the side of the condo building collapse in surfside this morning looking for survivors. they were stalled for 15 hours yesterday due to structural concerns involving the part of the building that remains standing. after the search is over officials plan on tearing down what is left of the building. the mayor of surfside met with president biden yesterday. >> the president was very tentative and basically so many words that i'm here to tell you that you will get whatever you need. >> the president promised to cover 100% of the search and rescue cost for the first 30 days. questions still linger over the cause of the collapse. the washington post reported five out of seven condo board members resigned in 2019, partly in frustration. the board president
