i have been watching, yes. that is my brother, and we've known each other since my junior year in high school. his sophomore year. we actually met for the first time when we were in eighth grade. we played in the same au national basketball tournament in orlando, florida. then we officially met my junior year, his sophomore year. we've been friends ever since. >> arsenio: yeah, and we hear and read that you all are friends. but it's deeper than i realized. he was at the hospital for the birth of one of your children. >> yeah. he was at the hospital for the birth of my second child, my second son, bryce maximus. and it happened to be during the nba finals then. >> arsenio: wow, yeah. >> so he's the godfather of bryce. and bryce came out the night before. and i went on to proceed to get my ass kicked by the spurs the next day. [ laughter ] so it was no sleep for me then. >> arsenio: yes, i was very

upset when the nba -- i don't know the technicalities. they kind of blocked chris paul. >> yeah, they like vetoed the trade. i've never seen it in nba history. and i was excited as heck for c.p. i thought the lakers faithful was excited to get him. they vetoed it. but it's working out for him right now, years later, it's working out for him. >> arsenio: could it still happen? and would you like it to still happen? [ cheers and applause ] wait, wait, wait. no, no. i know why you're laughing. because that would be tampering or something, right, if i talk about that? >> well, you -- you don't know the word? or you know the word? were six months older than me, now i'm the youngest guy." [ cheers and applause ] it's -- i don't really get lost for words too much, but this has definitely gotten to me. last night we had the world premiere down at l.a. live. and i'm a kid from akron, ohio. i used to have dreams of being alongside the looney tunes and wishing i could be the fresh prince of bel air and all these great things growing up. and yesterday i'm sitting there with my family and my friends and all the people that was there, and we're just watching this movie, obviously bugs and daffy and lola and taz.

and i'm on the silver screen with them. and also at the same time, i'm there preaching about fatherhood and listening to your kids. i did "coming to america 2" in atlanta, and there was some marvel people down there. they're pretty strict on you guys, huh? >> oh, yes. have you still got the tags around your ankles? [ laughter ] >> arsenio: i've seen them, i've seen them. >> i've got mine. >> arsenio: they make you sign stuff? >> they make you sign stuff, they put special implants underneath your skin. [ laughter ] you're followed. it's a whole deal. i had a dress rehearsal. i was in a film you may have heard of called "star wars: the rise of luke skywalker." [ cheers and applause ] and there you have to be under fort knox level of security. you couldn't say anything -- i wouldn't even tell my wife and daughter the name of the character that i was playing for fear that they would take my salary away or remove my kneecaps. [ laughter ] i thought i'd keep the money and the kneecaps. >> arsenio: what time is it there? >> it is 10 to 1:00 in the morning.

>> it's really late. what are you going to do after the interview is over? are you going clubbing? [ laughter ] >> i'm going to pull on my full green tights outfit and i'm going to go boogie. fan, a dedicated fan, of barbra streisand for 50 years. and so i met her a couple of years ago. and -- when i was working in philadelphia. and i got up to -- somebody invited me -- anyway, i end up in the hamptons at a party that she was at. i had a one-to-one conversation with her for two hours, so 1:00 in the morning. i told her that i had commissioned a sculpture that would be 3 foot tall, almost a meter tall, of her head for my yard, my garden. and she said, no, you're crazy. i said, yeah, i know i'm crazy. she said, you are crazy. i said, i stand happily so. [ cheers and applause ] every day i see that. >> arsenio: now, this is none of my business, but i think -- in my research i found out you have two homes? >> i do. but i'm so rich. [ laughter ] >> arsenio: does your -- >> like you. >> arsenio: -- streisand travel

to the different homes? >> no, i have -- the original sculpted one in my yard, the bottom of the yard. when i look out the windows, there she is every day, all day long, all night long. in this cottage that i've got in the countryside, the sculptor had made a facsimile of it in fiberglass. and i said, what's happening to that one? because i'd paid for it. he said, oh, it will just be trashed. and i said, no, no, no, no. it's coming with me. [ laughter ] it's going in that yard. so i've got two. [ applause ] >> arsenio: yes. hey. i have a big, giant bust of james brolin in my yard.
