they are breaking through at eight breakneck pace. the fire has destroyed 491 homes. this was the view this evening from the north end of lake tahoe. it is serene, beautiful over the water. right now there are no evacuation orders for tahoe. abc 7 news meteorologist andy patel --sandhya patel is tracking the fire. sandhya: it will be another troubling few hours. let me show you the warning the is under affect into 11:00 p.m. tomorrow night. that is because a gusty winds, low humidity, and dry fuels that are up there. right now it is dry. 18% humidity. winds are gusting anywhere from 18-27 miles an hour. the forecast is going to ramp up tomorrow at 3:00, that will push

doppler 7, the system, the storm has fallen apart. remnants continue to produce heavy rain across the ohio valley, heading into d.c. they will have to deal with the flooding issues for quite some time. we have some rain in california, some thunderstorms. dumps a good amount of rain. i do want to show you what is happening with our upper level winds. there is an area of low pressure that is to our north. that started the trend of cooling is down right now. that will continue tomorrow as the winds are coming off the ocean and going towards the land. the same low pressure system will start to drag some of that haze into our areas. northbay, by lunchtime starting to notice hazy skies. heavy smoke is still over tahoe. notice by thursday, more of the bay area will begin to notice the air-quality beginning to decline.
