could mandate covid vaccines for children 12 and up. it is not the only district considering a similar move. we have more on this from amy hollifield. amy: it feels like a sh feels happening that the focus is relate now turning toward vaccine mac to -- va mandate. in oakland, they are onenenene ahead of that the school board will vote next week on whether to put a vaccine mandate in place for students. it came up for discussion at a meeting yesterday with the student government leaders. some students are still uncertain about adding vaccinated. but one student said if schools require it, she will get it. others will say they feel safer if it is required.

let's take a look at the highlights that i put together, the three main themes to this forecast moving forward. one is the drizzle coming this weekend. wildfire concerns sunday and monday. hot and dry conditions next week. the best chance saturday will be in the north bay. as the system slides southward and weakens, waking up with showers in the east and south bay. rainfall amounts possibly one 100th. this will put two to three inches of rain down to the north. definitely fire suppression. some of the fires to the north will get some beneficial rain. at 7:00 tomorrow evening, scattered showers in sonoma.
