dancing or just being sane. >> i feel like it is a right time to provide this for folks. dion: happening now, a vigil in oakland started with a goal of bringing together police, community, and church members were victims of violence in the city. police say two men aged 21 and 26 were killed. our media partner reports that the victims were brothers and were shot outside their homes after getting into a confrontation with other men. that shooting brings the total number of homicides up to 102 so far this year. tonight, a vigil will be held at san francisco city hall in memory of those lost to violence. the district attorney and the police chief are expected to attend. police are asking for help to find a woman who went missing in oakland.

she was last heard from on september 25. she may be staying in the area of macarthur boulevard in oakland. she may possibly be the victim of human sex trafficking. she is from yuba county. my family says she suffers from miles -- mild autism and asperger's's and -- syndrome. they will hold sanction sideshows. as happened in oakland and are becoming a issue all over the bay area. the idea is to give them a place to do their tricks in a safe and controlled environment. sideshows have been growing larger and happening more frequently. santa rosa city leaders will formally submit proposals by the end of the month. one issue we focus on building a two better bay area. in covid headlines, covid says it is a time of days, not weeks before they submit data for federal authorization of a covid vaccine for children aged 5-11.

a appeals judge is blocking new york city schools from enforcing a vaccine mended on employee set to go in effect tomorrow. in santa clara, the hospitalization rate of on accident -- under residence is 23 times higher than those who receive the shots. 88% have received one dose. alameda county held another round of covid vaccine clinics but only for those who have not received their initial doses. all three vaccines were available in union city. for now, those eligible should call their physician's office or go to a local pharmacy. alameda county says they will have more information on booster shots at county run clinics

soon. nancy pelosi will satisfy both progressive and moderate democrats to pass the agenda. elizabeth shows he explains another challenge now. lawmakers have five days to avoid a government shutdown. reporter: nancy pelosi committed to bringing the infrastructure built to the house floor on monday. that might not happen. i will never bring a bill to the floor that doesn't have the vote. reporter: it includes funding for road, projects to battle climate change and expanded internet access. progressive house democrats say they will not vote on that smaller $1 trillion bill until the larger we .5 trillion human -- 3.5 trillion human infrastructure bill is also ready for a vote. moderate democrats have expressed concern over the price tag and some of the bills content. >> with negotiations, there have to be some changes in that. the sooner the better so we can

build our consensus to go forward. we will not do that. reporter: they want it paid for with increased taxes on corporations and the wealthy. negotiate the price of prescription drugs and other federal revenue sources. >> the idea that 50 major corporations in america, making a sum total of $40 billion pays zero? come on. come on. it is just wrong. it is just not fair. reporter: the government is set to close on october 1 if they do not pass a funding agreement. >> i will vote no if they insist on combining the debt ceiling increase or suspension with the continuing operation of the government. reporter: pat toomey telling cnn that they would vote on a bill

dion: in the east bay, oakland police are investigating the theft of an atm. they forced the atm open through the doors of the pharmacy in the montclair district. machine was bolted to the floor. the thieves managed to juncker -- yank it off its foundation and out onto the sidewalk.

we have reached out to cvs and oakland police for more information about today's theft. a fire burned to families of -- 2. crews say the fire started just before 230 this more ash 2:30 -- 2:30. this morning. embers from that fire spread to another home across the street. firefighters were able to put those flames out quickly. some cars parked outside were destroyed. no word yet on what caused the fire. an effort to build a better bay area. thousands of feminine buttocks -- products were donated by the product to be distributed to on house women. in partnership with santa clara county, they held their first -- first annual pad parade. help to collect 100,000 feminine project -- product items to maintain claim this for on house women. -- house lists -- houseless. >> women are having to make the choice between eating and using the product they need to stay healthy and clean.

dion: an event to support breast cancer survivors and the cause was held in person today. this fundraiser has a new name and was held at a new venue. the more than pink walk was originally called the race for the cure. it drew an enthusiastic crowd to the sf zoo.
