really throws a wrench in things. >> reporter: chaotic scenes at airports leaving thousands of travelers frustrated during the busy holiday weekend. in denver, ryan says he waited more than three hours in book h. >> we are going denver to tampa. and we're not quite sure how we're going to get to orlando yet. >> reporter: in a memo to staff, one southwest official apologizing to employees. writing, i'm sorry for the struggles that you and our customers are experiencing once again. among the hardest-hit airports, denver, baltimore, dallas, phoenix. southwest initially blamed bad weather and air traffic control. but the faa says there's been no major air traffic control issues since friday. >> all of the cancellations are southwest and none of the other frights are from other airlines. >> reporter: the cancellations sunday amounted to 29% of the airline's schedule. others including allegiant,

american and spirit also canceled flights but far fewer. it's the latest major disruption for southwest, after staffing shortages fueled delays this summer. southwest pilots' union is blaming airline management for the coancellations. three men are under arrest after a shooting in a bar. a woman was killed and 14 others injured. frantic 911 calls described victims inside and outside of the building. the woman who died was a 27-year-old veterinarian technici technician. there's growing backlash this morning after video showed police in ohio dragging a man from his car. police are defending their actions. but the man says, he was left traumatized. this morning, police in dayton,

ohio, facing scrutiny, after this video shows officers dragging clifford by his air and arm, even after he told them he is paraplegic. >> stop. >> reporter: police stopping the 39-year-old, saying they saw him leave a suspected drug house. >> get out of the vehicle, sir. >> i am not going to assist you. >> no, you're not. not going to touch me. >> reporter: he was pulled from the car and pinned against the ground. >> ow. >> they drug me like trash, like garbage. something you would take right on out. >> reporter: police say he has a record, that prompted him to search the car. they say they found $22,000 in cash. a narcotics dog alerted them to it. saying the cash has been in close proximity of drugs. he says he was the victim of racial profiling and is

back now with captain kirk's latest mission which has been delayed. 90-year-old william shatner's flight on the blue origin rocket has been pushed back by one day to wednesday due to windy conditions in texas. the university of north carolina at chapel hill has canceled all classes tomorrow for what's being called a wellness day. the chancellor marked world mental health day sunday with a tweet about the serious of mental illness especially during the pandemic and said, quite, we are in the middle of a mental health crisis on our campus and as chancellor, professor and a parent my heart breaks for all those whose suffering goes unnoticed. now to a story being called a miracle. a toddler lost for four days in the woods has been found safe and is expected to be released from the hospital today. we're now hearing from the man who found him.

here's abc's christine sloan. >> reporter: a little boy is back in his mother's arms after he was missing in the woods near his texas home for nearly four days. and now the good samaritan who found 3-year-old christopher ramirez is speaking out. >> people no matter what their faith is, they're going to call it a miracle. it's a miracle. it's a miracle. >> reporter: tim halpin says he first heard about the missing boy during his bible study class last week. >> they were talking about this little boy who was lost, and i'm saying, what little boy. the lord told me you're going to look for this boy tomorrow. halpin says he found the toddler five miles away from search teams after hearing what sounded like a child's voice. >> christopher, is that you? and then he speaks again. i'm like, whoa. you know, like praise god, and he was only maybe 10 or 12 feet into the woods, but it was very, very dense, very, very thick. i had a machete xi with me, i'm looking along the fence like
