without power in san ramon. abc 7 meteorologist sandhya patel is tracking the red flag warning. let's start with laura anthony who is live in salon told -- solano county. >> there are about customers without power due to this psps. most of them are here in vacaville where the wind has been whipping all day. >> this is my pot of water that i have been there that stays warm. >> cleo and tom have been down this road before, the one where they have to go without power for a day or two. it beats the alternative. >> we evacuated in 2019. >> this year, the gusts approaching 50 miles an hour and pg&e has shut off power to their

neighborhood. >> we got all of the notifications, so we anticipated that the power would go off sometime between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. >> pg&e is concerned about the power lines and everything in the past. they are just being cautious. >> this neighbor has his generator up and running. it went on almost as soon as the power went off. >> i need to make coffee in the morning. >> we have up staffed. >> the vacaville fire department is meeting the weather head-on with extra patrols, especially in the areas where the homes meet the holes. >> with the gusts that we have, any spark. it brings low humidity which spreads the fire quickly.
