larry: hopefully lit be fun and less stressful than last night's game. let's get to curt sandoval at dodger stadium. curt, let's start with traffic and weather. i know the traffic. let's talk about the wind because it had a dramatic impact. how windy sit tonight? >> it sure did. larry. you peg it on the traffic. same craziness as always. the weather is slightly breezy. nothing like it was yesterday. but still the wind is blowing out tonight, not in. and that could be a factor. but nothing like last night, larry. larry: what is the overall mood. dodgers are defending world series champions but they're one game away from elimination on a scale of 1-10, where's the anxiety meter right now? >> i would say bordering between
5:06 pm
a nine and a 10, quite frankly because it's one thing for them not to get to the world series. but it's another thing to lose to the giants and not get to the world series. that is as big as not advancing at all. now, having said that, they feel pretty confident because they don't think they'll lose two straight but they know they industrial to go back up north if they win here tonight. larry: nine or a 10 is higher than i would have expected. walker buehler is pitching on three days' rest for the dodgers. he's never done that before. that tells you all you need to know about the dodgers' level of concern and urgency. what's your expectation tonight for walker buehler? >> i think he's going to pitch well. listen, the first 34 innings against the giants, he did extremely well. but the last nine innings against giants, he hasn't done well at all. what you cannot read in the stats is he loves to have the ball in a big-game situation.
5:07 pm
and he was the guy that went up to dave roberts and said, i want to do this. i want to do this. and reading between the lines, clayton kershaw would normally be pitching in this fourth game had he not reaggravated that arm injury and with his postseason record which he's been great in the regular season, not so great in the postseason, a lot of dodger fans are more optimistic. the bigger issue is if they win tonight with walker, what will be the residual effect be? and really, do they go -- julio urias only pitched in a game they won big in that game in san francisco. he only went five innings. so does dave roberts burn through him as well? it's going be a tough managing situation. larry: you have to figure both teams are going to use every arm on the staff that they can spare because the giants don't want to come back here in a must-win game five and i'm sure the dodgers need the win just to goat a game five. final question for you, did you bring goggles because champagne
5:08 pm
can really hurt your eyes if you wander into the giants' celebration after the game? >> you know, i dish didn't obviously -- for obvious reasons. i feel larry, there is absolutely no need for them right now because i look at guys like evan longoria who was the hero last night, he's from long beach and crawford looking like spiderman last night. he's, you know, played at ucla. it taken a lot of southern california to get the giants just to where they're at. so i think we'll save the goggles for the dodgers' clubhouse up in san francisco on thursday. my apology jays for having to clean the carpet in advance. larry: oh, nice, nice. mic drop moment right there. enjoy the game. but not too much. curt sandoval in l.a. dan: it's great. anchor: thank you, larry. turning to the fires now in the north bay the newal fire is 100%
