electric to cancel the public safety power shut off for today. they issued a alert yesterday saying they could begin cutting off power to 4900 customers in these counties but it was not necessary. ama: three different police agencies are investigating the richmond police chief. there are allegations that she and her husband may have broken the law in trying to rescue their daughter from an alleged sex trafficker. we have the story. >> the one thing we like to do is to know what is going on at city hall before we hear about it on the here -- evening news. reporter: he was blindsided by news that his police chief was put on paid administrative leave due to family and potential legal issues between the alleged sex trafficking of her daughter. >> having to go through something like this is unimaginable. she is a good person.

she is a professional. reporter: she and her husband are on leave after allegations made by their 18-year-old daughter that they became physical and threatened both she and the man that she called her partner. a 34-year-old man. he is now in an alameda county jail charged with human trafficking. >> the allegations result from the chief and her husband's attempt to get her daughter safe again, who was student and straight a student. had unfortunate meeting with somebody many years older. reporter: convictions for sex trafficking and that he had her working as a prostitute in motels and on the streets of oakland. she told investigators that he

taught her how to move and make money. according to court filings, they try to get their daughter away from him and an interaction they described in a court document. my mother and father yelled at me and threaten me. i tried to run out but my father grabs me. she alleged her parents threatened to kill her and goldman. a separate police report says they went to the vallejo home of his mother where they claimed she was threatened. while they investigate, the chief will remain on paid leave. in the meantime, a hearing is set for later this month on her daughter's effort to get a restraining order against her parents. dan: unanimously to recommend emergency use authorization of a booster dose of the moderna vaccine. they agreed to the request to authorize a half dose of its

vaccine for certain people. this includes american 65 and older, anybody 18 and older with underlying conditions and those who frequently are exposed through the virus from work or home life. recommendation is in line with the authorization for pfizer booster shots that happened last month. those agencies must approve this recommendation as well. bart will require employees and contractors to be vaccinated. they must prove their full vaccination status by december 13 or provide a valid medical or religious exemption. about 22-20 5% of its employees are not vaccinated. the general manager will bargain with labor unions on employees who declined to be vaccinated will handle it. ama: they are lifting masked requirements in certain settings where everybody is fully vaccinated. daughter takes effect it many

dan: ama: dan: this map shows this spot at bay point where a car full of people used a bb gun to shoot a 12 euros girl as she walked home from school tuesday afternoon. sheriff's office tells us there were two other similar attacks that they tied to a silver four-door kia optima with four passengers inside.

investigators say people were hurt in each of the incidents. they are wanted for assault with a deadly weapon. the sheriffs office is asking anybody with information on this to get in touch immediately. ama: aclu filed shoot -- a suit against a sheriff in marion county for endangering the safety of community spread he broke to state laws by showing license plate numbers and location data taken from readers like these from shares agencies. it has alarming implications for immigrants and people of color who are traditionally targets of excessive policing and surveillance. we reached out to the sheriff's office but not heard back. dan: you've heard about supply chain issues. southern california ports are backed up. experts say it could take two years before the bottleneck is fixed. there are efforts to provide some solutions that require a new approach.
