st. >> p g nde working all night long. look at this power pole. this is the aftermath of what happens when the rain hits these power poles after so long of being dry. it's been so long since we had rain. we got video of what happened in south san francisco. witnesses say sounded like a firecracker with a couple of dozen transformers knocking the power out to thousands of customers. there were power outages from vallejo to the east bay. >> the water line and it was kind of weird. >>

than 17,000 acres. in santa cruz county, the estrada fire is now 60% contained. 148 acres have burned but no homes were damaged. all of a croatian borders -- all evacuation orders have been lifted. the fire started after a controlled burn on a retired calfire battalion chief property jump to containment lines. kumasi: there was a tribute to mark the 30th anniversary of the oakland mills fire. the north hills community hosted a picnic to celebrate the people who keep oakland safe and honor those who lost their lives. in 1991, this fire killed 29 people making it the third deadliest wildfire in northern california history. oaklands fire chief lives in one of the areas hardest hit by the blaze. >> to prove that not only is it important to me and my family but members of the open fire
