the sunshine with a touch of haze this afternoon. 63 degrees by 7:00. two babies are saved after the cars they were left in were stolen. this is video of the reunion in concord in pittsburgh last night. both babies were left alone in a vehicle, and in front of restaurants. the first incident happened outside about mexican rest brought in pittsburgh. one-year-old was alone when a woman drove off with an suv. in the second case, one-month-old was left alone in a van in concord. both babies and vehicles were found a short time later. we have more what happened. quek good morning. it was a wild night think concord acosta county.

this happened in pittsburgh and then in concord. a person stole a car with a four-month-old still inside the car. according to the police. both incidents involve people leaving their cars as they were outside of them with children still inside of the car. in concord, police say the parents went inside to go to who wingstop. . the cars a white van. they found the car around 10:30 p.m. in a residential court not far from here with the baby inside. thank goodness, they are safe. but they are still looking for the suspect. >> 20 mins later, an officer located that vehicle, unoccupied, with a child inside. the child was a four-month-old baby. i believe the vehicle was unlocked. i don't believe it was running, but the keys may been inside.

>> police say they have used dogs to track the scent of the person who took the car. right now, they don't have a description of the person involved in that concord case. they're looking to identify what may lead up to the incident. they also don't know if the two incidents are connected. the one in pittsburgh in concord, one have been several hours before the other, but they cannot rule out that possibility. abc 7 news. >> the crowd surged at the astroworld music festival has risen to nine. 22-year-old died wednesday night. they say the student was at texas a&m university. she attended this concert with her cousin and younger sister. >> nightmare. or. barberry -- barbarity. kind -- canister -- catastrophe.

>> britney spears independence day may have finally arrived. a judge may determine to terminate the conservatorship that has controlled her money for more than a decade. here's a preview of the hearing. >> this morning, the free britney movement may finally come to fruition. a los angeles judge could officially enter conservatorship that has been in place for nearly or teen years. -- 14 years. pretty's father had been in charge of the $60 million estate until late september when the judge suspended her as a conservator and appointed a temporary one. at today's hearing, that conservatorship could end altogether. britney wrote and since deleted an instagram post that said this we could be very interesting for me. last week, -- last summer, the four-year-old said that she was in an abusive conservatorship, claiming she was scared of her dad. in late october, an attorney

occurring in front of the swing stop in concord, and the other earlier that evening in pittsburgh. both involved recoveries. they are ok. according to police, they say the man got out of his car to talk someone. the owner of the car was a few feet from his car what a woman approached him and asked both of them for a cigarette. they both declined saying that they did not have one. the child's father said that, and police state woman got in the car and drove off. the child was in the backseat. they were secured in a car seat. and amber alert was issued, they found the child in the car, abandoned at an apartment complex nearby. the suspect was nowhere to be found. >> one of the neighbors heard a baby crying, and when they heard that, they flashlights and saw a baby. when they saw the baby, they called the police, and we don't know where this person went. >> please say they ar t

for the suspect. she is a white woman in her early 30's with a face tattoo. they did not say if the two incidents here and in concord that evening and it's berke are related. the one in pittsburgh happened several hours before the one in concord. police in both departments have not ruled out the possibility that they are related. they are still investigating. as mentioned, both children in both incidents were returned to their families and our state. live in concord, ryan curry, abc 7 news. >> thank you. two officers at the golden gate bridge were hurt after a chain reaction crash. sky seven was over the scene as an suv smashed into a truck, hitting the people behind it. they were there monitoring a group of anti-vaccination protesters together near the toll process -- plaza. it was traveling northbound when it hit a sweeper truck with careened into a buffer truck that hit the victims.

>> the firefighters pulled two victims from the building. they were able to revive one of the victims and transport them to hospital. a dog also died in the fire. they do not know the cause. >> the santa rosa school learned a valuable lesson about the value -- dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning. this force and evacuation of a bridge church yesterday morning. there was a carbon monoxide leak. 14 people, 12 of them students at the grace christian academy had to be treated for carbon monoxide exposure. it turns out that someone covered a heating and air conditioning unit on the roof, but -- with a tarp because of the recent rain because it was leaking. >> in the process of covering the hvac unit with a tarp, the co from the unit that would normally be expelled out with air was circulating through the hvac unit. it was distributed throughout the building. >> thankfully, everyone was

treated and released. >> there been some shocking comments in a courtroom for one of the arbery trial. they are monitoring the closely watched case, including new evidence that the jury is getting to see. >> jurors watched security camera footage of other people who entered a georgia home that was under construction in the months before 25-year-old arbery was gone down. ray surrounds this entire case. three white men are accused of the murder of arbery, a black jogger in february of last year. the defense claims it was self-defense. they were trying to detain a suspected thief for what we are learning, when arbery was fatally shot. prosecutors say nothing was stolen. jurors on thursday watched surveillance footage from the construction site. it shows two white boys walking onto the property and leave with why would. video also shows a white man and woman walking onto the property

at night. these clips also show arbery in the unfinished home on five different occasions. then there was this exchange from the defense attorney. he was upset that the reverend al sharpton took one of the few seats available in the courtroom. >> that's it. we don't want any more black pastors coming in here. jesse jackson, whoever was in her earlier this week, sitting with the victims family, trying to influence the jury in this case. >> the judge presiding over the case said no, he is not going to restrict courtroom seating to keep sharpton out. he threw that request out, saying he did not even notice the reference sitting in the corner of the courtroom. the trial is expected to end, but it is looking less likely, giving the latest of elements. >> thank you. we are less than two weeks away from thanksgiving, and a lot of people are still trying to decide whether to celebrate her stairway. covid-19 cases are rising in nearly two dozen states rayna.
