to learn that three on-duty san francisco police officers were recently denied service at hilda and jesse restaurant on union street. two blocks from central station. >> i hope one day they don't need that. >> three uniformed officers were asked to leave. it had nothing toad nothing toao they were but what they were carrying. >> it is not about being anti-police, we just don't allow rove -- weapons in a restaurant. we were uncomfortable so we asked them to leave. the owners said they were welcome to come back when they were off-duty and without their weapons. negative yelp reviews started

as well as merchandise just off the racks. the owner was alerted by his security service. a safeway store in san francisco limited hours due to theft has installed security gate. the automatic gates at the safeway on market street quickly shut behind customers. the gates prevent would-be thieves from running out with shopping carts filled with items. this safeway used to be between four hours but last month it started closing at 9:00 p.m.. relieve is coming for drivers who use i 15 to get between southern california and las vegas. this freeway is constantly congested but now there is a possible fix. it will go from three way to two lanes for about five miles near the california nevada state line. that brings traffic to a crawl.

>> dress for success held a holiday soiree in san francisco. it is the first since the start of the pandemic. the nonprofit helps women to reenter the workplace as we transition from a virtual to a real workplace once again. the group had to come up with some new ways to adjust to covid. >> that presented a unique challenge where a lot of our women did not have digital hardware to get them back online. we started a digital equity program that gives laptops and ipads to the women in our programs. >> dress for success looks for ways to get women trained and back on their feet. it also helps them with resumes and getting the interview skills they need to get back in the workforce. nice to see that turnout. moving onto whether, also nice

with satellite. that is not what you want to see in december if we want somethise south. it will skirt by us to the west. there are even some light showers, especially tomorrow night and into thursday morning. tomorrow, future weather. perhaps an isolated and light shower. most of us are dry but early tuesday morning, we will watch for some scattered light showers. this is 3:30 in the morning. we see wet weather moving through. the clouds are breaking downg dn it should finish the day with a fair amount of sunshine. total rainfall close to the coast, likely some higher amounts. then as you go in land, you can see those numbers really fall off your.

this is not a soaking storm that we want to see but it is nice to see that pattern is finally changing with the storm sort of opening up here and it is allowing for wet weather to return. highs on monday, there is a lot of cloud cover. we are mainly stuck in the 50's as we track that isolated drizzle late tomorrow night and first thing tuesday morning. another storm we are tracking moves in early on thursday. we will likely find some light showers early thursday morning and across the bay area. we will keep you updated on that. this looks to be a level 1 here. early morning shower. increasing sunshine. wednesday, fairly nice. better air quality.
