now, it is just one day. travelers have already said the three-day restriction was stressful, as they waited for results and hoped they made it in time. the key is going to be coming up with a plan, doing your research , something frequent travelers say has become the norm during covid. >> there have been different research and's each time i have traveled this year. it is just checking the restrictions each time and making sure you have the most up-to-date info. amy: it's official say they're trying to do this to catch more omicron cases before they make it into the states. passengers have already been required to get -- i'm vaccinated travelers have already been required to get this test before travel, but now it applies to all passengers. the cdc recommends, but does not require, getting another test three to five days after income. reggie: thank you. at 6:00, the mayor of new york

city just announced a vexing mandate for all federal employees. de blasio, who is set to leave office at the new year, causes a print of strike. the city will also require proof of full vaccination for anyone ages five years old and up for indoor dining, entertainment, and fitness establishments. kumasi: seven more cases of covid-19 have now been identified on a norwegian cruise line ship that first set sail in new orleans. that brings the total number of cases to 17. the ship left louisiana on november 28 and stopped in belize, honduras, and mexico. more than 3000 people were on board. they all had to be tested before getting off. norwegian says it requires all passengers and crew members to be vaccinated before departing. reggie: health officials are raising concerns about another twin-demic. the first cases have been detected in marin county.

southern california. it went down just 16 seconds after taking off on saturday night. people on the plane died. sheriffs deputies say the conditions were really foggy at the time, but it is not clear if whether officially played a role in the crash. reggie: now to the michigan school shooting investigation. we are learning more about the parents of the 15 euros suspect and their actions for they got arrested over the weekend. jobina has more, as all three of them are now in the same jail. jobina: yes. authorities found the parents inside an empty commercial building early on saturday morning. the man who owns the building says he has a friendly relationship with them and he invited them to stay at his art studio. according to that man's attorney, he was not aware the authorities were looking for them. officials say the couple with through $4000 from an atm before the manhunt ended. their lawyers insist they were not turned runaway. >> our clients were absolutely
