the rain train is coming next week, making many stops and our accuweather a forecast. reggie: classes are canceled at a south bay high school today because of a social media threat, as school districts across the country deal with eight tiktok challenge that encourages students to make false school shooting threats. jobina is at the live desk with more on the precautions. jobina: school will take finals over winter break because of this, a threat circulating on tiktok from a person who says they will shoot up a school with the initials g.h.s. on december 17. gilroy police found the threat made by a male juvenile in los angeles, and the initials represent a school in that area. gilroy high school canceled classes as a precaution. they say social media companies need to do more to flag accounts that encourage violence and bullying. >> instead of waiting 24 hours

before flag the account, if the account says something which is earning somebody else, this should have the highest priority. jobina: several school districts in the bay area are aware of the tiktok challenge, but they are not canceling classes. santa clara county is in communication with tiktok, adding that they have a security team that addresses these types of issues. the fbi says if it finds a hoax threat was made, a person could base a federal charge of a maximum of five years in prison. kumasi: in the south bay, a rising concern over the omicron variant after 10 confirmed cases in santa clara county, the most of any county in the area. health experts warn more cases are on the way. amy hollyfield joins us live by the covid testing site in san jose. the lines have been long ahead of the holiday. amy: yeah, testing sites like this one at the office of education are busy. they will be part of peoples's

holiday is the omicron variant tries to fight its way into people celebrations and their gatherings. here is a look at the crowd gathered last night at a test site in san carlos. the state of california recommends that people get tested within three days to five days of arriving in california. health officials are interested in watching for the spread of omicron. santa clara county and announced they have had 10 cases of the variant, the most of any in the bay area, and they expect a huge wave of cases, so they encourage everyone to get the rooster shot and protect themselves. >> we know that protection fades over time, so, everybody is eligible and needs a booster to raise their protection level back up to where it was. amy: they are watching and keeping track of that vaccine in santa clara county. officials say there are 250,000 adults 50 and older who have not received a booster. they say omicron is not going
